I think bluish grading is used to showcase kathmandu in 1999. It has changed so much that if not shown in dark, people won't beleive its the Kathmandu of late 90s. And i guess blue dark grading is cheaper to create those days.

I agree that they do not gave importance to this big actor's & also the role captain can be played by anyone because the character lacks emotional touch. According to me the afgan person who was talking this indian officials has more aura in character then the captain's character. I think makers just wanted to sell the series on the name of vijay & other actors. There are many examples of this in series but here i want to tell one the last scene where the captain is crying we know what the character wanted to do but we cannot feel it and they don't show the crying face of vijay these kind of scenes need feeling that the series lacks. There's only reason for this that they wanted to show as close as to reality but in this they wasted the characters depth despite that i will give this series 7/10. It's a good series so watch it.
