Need to make an open plug, a 50 ohm, a 150 ohm and a 225 or 274 ohm ones too. To calibrate if you update SW. They used to be a kit now only factory built.

Oops,two versions use 225 or 274 ( a 220 ohm and a 52 in series works)

Just got mine, I like it. Yes it works out of the box. You can calibrate it with the installed drivers.

If you are using a half wave vertical, which would have a feedpoint impedance of about 300ohm without the matching coil in antenna to match to 50 ohm. This I imagine explains the 26ohm reading.

Yes I can update the firmware and you can put software on your pc and do graphs 📊….Read the manual on line cause it’ll tell you your two swr points

I have one and like it because it is much handier to use than my mfj259b. My 259b is superior just not as handy. If you keep it get a 8cell aaa and load it with aa's tight fit but works and the aa last a long long time. Mine tracks really close to my 259b.

Hello everyone, I have the sark100 and the NanoVNA as a ‘coarse motorist’ I get on better with the SARK100. Clear numerical values and no need for endless settings like with the NanoVNA. It's just a matter of taste vy 73 do3ds

Based on an open source design and you used to be able to find plans or kits. Now a couple of Chinese manufacturers build and sell it. No it does not have to be plugged into a computer but, there is software and you can do so, if you choose. You might want to read the directions first rather than whining and complaining before you even know how to run it. You get a scale and can see more info about your antenna with the computer program. Your bias is showing.

Download manual. In different mode reads Z and J numbers more accurately. Driver goes on pc to talk to this. Get graphs, swr levels across band. Scan goes from 2:1 to 2:1 higher up. And you find best swr point. Manual free on several sources. 73 wa2kbz
