Yea, there's no way they'll give the players a choice and have it mean anything. The whole Sab vs wrathion thing was just fluff for leveling and rep bonus.

@@mEsTiR5679 Forget giving players a choice. Player input has ruined wow's storytelling. You have a fanbase that will complain no matter what because their side didn't get picked. When you try and please everyone you just end up pissing everyone off. They need to just put the story first. Warcraft 1, 2, & 3 all had a great story. Why? Because Blizz wasn't pandering to an existing player base. They were just trying to tell a good story. The Ebyssian issue isn't about player choice. It's about making characters that are one-dimensional seem almost noble. Being a "good guy" is not enough to warrant being elected as a leader of a flight. Ebyssian has spent his whole life helping the HighMountain Taurens. He hasn't done anything for the Black Dragonflight until now. Also, any leader would be placed in a position to make difficult decisions. Ebyssian is 100% the wrong choice because he's so awfully written as a one-dimensional good guy with no complexity to his character. Horrible writing.

3:00 Like i said, i see bigger problem with Sabellian than Wrathion. If Sabellian becomes an Aspect, there is big chance he'lI kick out or put aside everyone who he believes that are unworthy his kin as Garrosh did to everyone in the Horde except the Orcs. I actually don't understand why Wrathion is trying so hard to find his father's legacy, but only reason I can think of is that he wants to know as much about his father as possible so he doesn't make the same mistakes his father did. Sabellian seeks his father's legacy only because he believes it rightfully belongs to him and no one else has a claim to it.

@@kodi5384 He WILL fall to corruption as Neltharian did. It has been foretold in the rings of the Void, and shown to us in the Vision of Ny'alotha. He's been hearing the whispers for years now. Why didn't he craft his own cape to combat the corruption effects during the Visions of N'zoth patch? Because he's already likely corrupted.

Wrathion literally helped Garrosh, and was the reason WoD and Legion even happened. Could even argue it even caused BfA since the sword from Sargeras(legion) is what caused the Azerite to start forming everywhere. Also technically Sabellian is the eldest son, therefor he IS the only one with a right to leader of the aspect. So far nothing indicates he would just purge the unworthy when its comes to pure dragons, not experiments. That's a reach. Not enough is known about his motivations and character... yet. Second, Sabellian risked his life to save what was left of his brood. Lived in isolation in a shattered wasteland. That is a show of sacrifice for the greater good of his kind. Honestly Wrathion is just cannon fodder. He betrayed everyone, he LIVES by the 'ends justify the means'. Which the same line of thought has led to the worst atrocities of mankind in the real world. Lastly, Ebonhorn should take the throne of the aspect. He shows the best character. Even has demonstrated he can keep a secret. Tried to a guide a mortal race he became fond of. Honorable dragon.

I see many complaints about the Aberrus ending as it explains nothing about Neltharion and his corruption but do we really need any explanation at the moment? I feel relieved it went like this. The focus is still on the Incarnets and that's alright IMO. Also I don't feel like this is the last time we've been to Aberrus. I believe the aspects might want to see the laboratory if they haven't done that already (I haven't played 10.1 yet). That might work like a build up or chapter for some future viod directly related expansion.

You know... I'm beginning to believe that Sarkareth has actually been in contact with Deathwing, directly. This end cutscene kinda insinuates it, as well as the first scene shown. I think Sarkareth was supposed to be a harbinger for the Void, but we kill him before he can finish the job. Everything lines up with that theory. Murozond might be the backup plan to finish what Sarkareth started, since we're getting Murozond this expansion. There shouldve been way more Infinite Dragonflight content in DF. I know we'll geta whole patch, and likely a whole raid with them, similar to Visions of N'zoth, but there must be a reason theyre not meddling as much right now. Maybe because its so close timeframe wise to the fall of Nozdormu into Murozond?

Sarkareth serves to further the character development of Wrathion and Sabellian as well as Emberthal. He played his part in the story but he was a decently interesting character, I wish we got to see a cinematic from his point of view.

So it takes 8:14 to complete the story so basically 2-3 hours for a campaign that takes Blizzard 6 months is insane to me. I guess the 10 % of the time they are focusing on the story they cant figure it out and say wait another 1.5 years until we can figure out a story.

The worst mistake Blizzard can make is make Ebyssian the aspect of earth and lead the black dragons. Unfortunately that is exactly what they are doing. Just blizz writing being as bad as it always is. No complexity to the characters. Blizz writing is basically, "This one is good and this one is bad so we are gonna make the good one win in the end. Why are they good and bad? Because one is super nice and the other one isn't. We're Blizzard."

​@@darknessnaxxion Also, It was a disaster when they scaled the leveling areas. It worked for Legion but it ruined the dungeons in burning crusade and probably the rest. The level reduction and item level reduction were also a disaster. It's like losing progress. The worst part is when they destroyed the power of artifact weapons. These talents to replace them are garbage. A few things I did not like about legion were the blood death knight specialization change and the requirement for some specializations to dual wield one handed weapons even though they can clearly use two handed weapons such as windwalker monk and frost death knight. But most of Legion was good.
