Thanks for giving us a glimpse of the XM. @7:48 you have to put the digital key card in the charging tray by the shifter. There is a spot there for it there. The car will start if it is placed there as long as the digital key is setup in the iDrive. I have a digital key for my M3 Comp with iDrive 8.

You have to activate the key card to use it like all BMWs, then you don’t need the keys. I’m not a big fan of this car but I’m excited to see what wheels you come up with. BMW did some strange things on this vehicle but love the interior.

@8:28 iDrive 8 (which the XM has) does allow you to change the gauges in several different layouts. You can also go full map mode with BMW maps or Apple CarPlay.

I like the exterior. I'm a fan of sharp lines, it's rugged and luxurious all in one. I don't like the interior color way. In my opinion, they added brown in the wrong places. BMW should've been a little more subtle with the brown or maybe added a lighter brown like camel. They should've added floating center caps. Exhaust sounds terrible. Hope the customer decides on more upgrades.

BMW tried to do like the Acura, and put their prototype body style into production. It will look better 10 yrs from now. They could have did better with the wheels . It kills the look even more. The black out design looks good in the rear. Prototype body styles look better with 5 star wheels
