It's very difficult to think of a time when Spurs lost a game or conceded a goal because of Ben Davies! It rarely happens! Whenever he plays, it's always a solid performance. But again, when you are not a fancy name who doesn't do fancy things, people will just walk all over you even if you did nothing wrong! Sad reality of football! The same could be said for people like Nacho, Sergi Roberto, etc! Extremely underrated and underappreciated

Sarr did everything in the midfield today kulu and rodrigo were bird watching when spurs were dispossessed he won most of his duels and won those others that were not suppose to be won by him he was an engine...he is work rate machine Dealt with big and heavy midfielders like amadou Onana, i thought he was also sharp with his forward passing too took a shot that he almost scored This is the type of midfielder that is a huge asset to his team In other term pape was not taking any prisoners today he executed them immediately 👏🏾

@ECILAFootball , Alice, I think you are a great analyst, but you got the take on Van De Ven wrong. The team will play better as a unit be better without the highline. Micky is the highline, and without him, there is no real speed to cover for him. Hence, we play deeper and more resolute. More behind the ball, more often than not. Yes, I had Sarr in for Maddison in the starting line up. Otherwise excellent review. On solanke, the lack of vertical passes and crosses is still a problem.

Everyone expects Ange to have an instant impact but he's not a miracle worker. Growing pains aside, rebuilding the team and the mentality from the ground up takes time. I understand Spurs fans are desperate for a trophy, but we gotta allow Ange to do his job. The man is a proven winner, and just because it wasn't in the EPL doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's doing. He takes risks, and understands them. It's not like things aren't improving either. Love your analysis Alice, especially as an outsider without bias. IMO, what we are witnessing is a group of players that are totally committed to Ange's philosophy and style of play. They are now starting to apply it on the pitch without being told what to do every minute from the sidelines by Ange. Ange is stepping it up a level and every player knows that their spot is not guaranteed. Ange's philosophy thrives on competition between players to get the best out of them. That can only improve the team.
