Has Rassie given Argentina motivation to cause an upset against the Boks this weekend? The Money Man and Scott Gibbs discuss:

Always great to hear the balanced opinion of the Welshman and the Saffa/Welshman. 👍 You are right - the Boks have lost many, many games where they were supposed and expected to win, the most recent against Ireland - not so long ago at all..

It would be good for rugby if Argentina wins. It would add another Tier1 team to the mix and it would make next week's game a classic.

Supreme irony. MM criticizes Rassie for getting an Argie name wrong whilst calling Sascha, Fassi in the same sentence 😅😢

And Bongani when referring to Bongi!

Scott, every week the Boks rotate who speaks at pressers. Perhaps you only watch Rassie, but every week he uses someone else. This week it was Davids. Last week it was Stick. Two weeks before it was Duane.

Love this podcast. Keep it up. The Welsh guy is very inciteful

No need for Rassie to say less, its a game win or lose, speak your mind, get into their head, thats our DNA
@deongrobbelaar65526 сағат бұрын
Rassie suffers from a neurological condition and the medication he takes, has side-effects on his brain. Let’s always keep that in mind in order to maintain a balanced view of this remarkable man.

As always thanks Gentlemen. Why do we not look at T. Greene for Fullback? Jessie is a passing Reiko.

@user-ve4vb4vp1h6 сағат бұрын
Sorry but we have Fassi and Damien Willemse and Even Sacha can play at 15. No doubt Tyrone Greene is talented , he will have to be exceptional to take over the 15 slot from our current choices .

I really enjoy your podcast but i think you guys have gone hopelessly overboard about Rassie's reference to the Argentinian players' numbers rather than names. It's certainly not the first time I've seen or heard a coach refer to an opposition team's player numbers instead of their names. I think that's a non-starter of an argument and I certainly dont think that that will even be remotely an issue of any importance at all to the Pumas. Because if it is, then they have far more to be concerned about than merely fronting up to a formidable Bok team. At this level, worrying whether the coach of a team knows or doesn't know (or more than likely, remember in the moment), the names of his team's opposing players seems awfully trivial to me. On the subject of Rassie doing too many of the press conferences in a test match week, I'm not sure whether you guys have actually been watching all the Boks' dressers each week. I HAVE been doing so and can inform you that in each and every test week this year, the Springboks have followed the exact same schedule and routine. Rassie does two pressers each week. The one where the matchday team is announced and then the post match press conference. In ALL the others, it is either two of the players (always different guys, which I think is great) or it is a player with one of the assistant coaches. Never have I seen Rassie do more pressers leading up to a test, than the two I referred to above. So guys, with respect, I don't know WHAT you're referring to when you suggest that Rassie should give the other management a chance. That is exactly what he's been doing all along. You see the likes of Mzwandile Stick, Deon David's, Tony Brown, Daan Human, Duane Vermeulen - all these guys - attending press conferences throughout the weeks gone by. In fact, Stick (who is the backline coach) has been at the pre-match press conference (on the day before the match) every week so far. So Rassie NEVER appears the day before the match. Perhaps go back and look at these press conferences - if anything, some people may actually even suggest that Rassie attends too few Springbok press conferences.

Na, Rassie keeps all the pressure on him…..the rest of the coaching team can go about their business with know pressure.

I don't hate Moerat. It's just that he doesn't have that X Factor. It's very difficult to think of him as a leader.

Gents, Rassie knows what he is doing. By not naming them, getting them worked up might be just what Rassie wants.... Argentina discipline is not always good and an over-hyped up Argentina will for sure give us a lot of penalties. Like giving an over-hyped up person red bull = self destruction.

What are u guys on about...two weeks ago he was in high spirits having just come off the training ground, he was humorous and awesome, and this week he had a cold and missed two names, fck all issue, he was still great. Making a mountain out of a mole hill, really now...
