Good game! Glad to see this upgraded versions. I have been working on a Saruman deck and will definitely be adding Maskwood Nexus now. Frodo and Sam did exactly what they were supposed to, but it was nice to see Eowyn do her thing. I’m excited to build her out. Great game!

@@DarkEinherjar I wasn’t considering beefing up Saruman in my deck. I wanted to lean heavily into the army token (like Flinging it at opponents) and in cards that steal my opponents’ cards like Praetor’s Grasp, Bribery, and Acquire. I like how it has faired so far, but I think I need a few more cards that can grant the token Trample, though.

At least everyone started with enough lands in their openers but when you run 8 mana Sauron you want to run all the mana ramp you can. It was a whole lot of do nothing on his side for the first 6 or 7 turns

Marie appeared to be drawing and not looting from the ring bearer triggers. I never saw her discard after the trigger. Cheater!!!

I cut out stuff all the time. One of those things is when a person takes a minute or two to decide what to discard. Trust me, she did.

⁠@@MTGMuddstahI think Frodo’s trigger says he draws a card and doesn’t discard and it overrides the draw and discard trigger on the ring. Unless you are able to choose, not sure. But from what I read, only one triggers, either the ring or Frodo.

Bruh 12 mana? You’re tripping. Sure it’s OP but doesn’t need to be banned. Commander shouldn’t have a lengthy banlist, just discuss with your playgroup which cards you don’t want to play

Can't do that in competitive, however, there's a reason you don't see cards like Farewell in competitive. It's just annoying to play a lower power deck just for the game to go 20 turns because of board wipes regardless of Farewell when i'm used to an environment where normally you just remove one permanent from your opponents field and your threatening to win the game. @@justinmorsch3208
