Telex machines look like a good option @ 1:58 - I am going to find my white pages phone book and dial Telecom today - and you know what - an AUSTRALIAN will answer the telephone, probably within 3 or 4 rings & the person that answer's will be able to assist me in plain English straight away.

Yes that's correct Spielberg had nothing to do with Star Wars but George Lucas's special effects company Industrial Light And Magic were involved in the production of Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind so the advert is correct in stating that Close Encounters was from the Directors of Jaws, Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark

@@eldiablo8580 Actually no, it was Douglas Trumbull that did the effects on Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Maybe some others like Dennis Muren worked on both films, but still.

@@craigdavidson5613 Yes Douglas Trumbull who won an Oscar for special effects for 2001: A Space Odyssey was in charge of special effects here and I.L.&M. were also employed so, yes, it is a bit of a stretch to claim Star Wars.
