Looks like it was an enjoyable flight! The Deer cheek looked SO GOOD! Couldn't believe how it just fell apart being so tender! The wood trim in the bathroom was a nice touch too. Keep up the great work!

On 17 May, 2018, I flew SAS from Stockholm to Newark. Wonderful staff served a delicious menu. Great flight. Complements to the captain for his great landing.. Thanks for the extra chocolates, a sweet treat by which to remember you. Only draw back of the trip happened at my final destination through United into BWI. They allowed my suitcase to be stolen when it stayed on the claim belt too long. Oh well, leave it to United....the not so friendly skies any longer..and BWI where there is a criminal element lurking at every turn.

I really loved being downtown at the Hilton Hotel in Union Square. .That was really nice for the long layovers there in SF. And the Marriott downtown as cool also...Thanks for showing you trips. You bring back my memories of travel for those many years..

Yes, I still like having four engines flying the long haul flights.... I know, I know, the 777-300's are one of my favorites and they are the two engines...But I am glad you had a good trip....Fly safe....

Yes, I am doing well. I laugh with good thoughts from when we would layover there in several places. Downtown at he old Richie Lou Hotel with the hamburger shop attached to it. The many airport hotels one with a lot of thoughts was the Marriott Hotel by the golf course...Great memories for me. The years as a Purser Flight Attendant were good..

Awesome...the deer cheeks really looks like beef....and yeah those hairdryer engines always cracks me...they are terrible....but glad you enjoyed. sas been known for great service. I have only flown once decades ago when they used to fly sin to their home base via bkk and although I only did the short haul to bkk I enjoyed it....the new product looks great but I wish they upgrade their planes more...

Flying into (and out of) SFO for the first time ever. Should be an interesting trip, hope to vlog everything. JFK-ZRH-BCN-ZRH-JFK-SFO-EWR... European legs are on Swiss (A330 for transatlantic, a320 for intra-Europe), Jetblue for the leg out to SFO (a321 mint), and the United 777-300er back

The Airbus A330 and A340 use engines that don't have enough reserve power, hence the long takeoff roll. This is how they got fuel economy that still doesn't match Boeing with GE engines.

GE wtf? IT depemds on aircraft, the a330-300 youse a rolls royce Trent 700 but on the new sas a350 -900 XWI that's coming in 2018 use a Trent 7000 that's have a bie pass 1:10

I enjoyed your video as usual. Looks like a really nice flight. The catering looked a little weak. More power to them for the venison cheeks (I bet that was really good) but "cup o noodles" in that walk up bar is just lame.... Even United manages to put out some fresh sandwiches and wraps. Those cocktails looked great though...may have to see if I can book an award ticket and sample one :)

AND, that the pilot spoke Swedish has nothing to do with SAS being (also) Swedish - it's just because it's a Swedish pilot - the official language in SAS is not Swedish, it's English - and then Danish, Swedish and Norwegian together as second.
