@@jmeMK64 Not sure if I agree with that bud, one thing I always notice with the editing is actually the opposite: you always know which contestants are gonna be in it for a good while by how much the show focuses in on them. The producers seem to pick certain contestants out that they laser focus in on (usually the 'big personalities') while there are others who we see taking part and leave but we never once see them in a studio setting talking to the camera. You can see how important these 'big personalities' are to the show cos if they say they want to VW the staff talk them out of it first. That's not realistic.

That depends on how you're defining strong and weak. 'Strong in the arm, thick in the head' won't cut it with these guys, they're looking for endurance fitness, high intelligence and mental fortitude, not bodybuilders. A lot of special forces guys are actually quite short and can appear unassuming.

Yeshua is Lord. It's about endurance dude, the more mass you lug about, the faster you tire and the more calories you burn. A good real-life example that I can give you is a 5k run with weapon and full webbing back in the Army Cadets (that's as far as I made it), I was one of the smallest guys there and out of hundreds and despite having to stop for feeling faint and a glucose boost, I managed to reach the final gate in a sprint in second place, I'd have came in first if I wasn't scared of the lad in front lol

it aint like this at all. for starters ramp up the difficulty by 10, and thats the sort of exercises potential recruits face during the selection process. second, you will never ever get shouted at or encouraged by any of the ds in the real thing. sas operators are meant to rely purely on self discipline and motivation; no instructor is gonna tell them to not forget their rifles or water bottles or make sure their kit is in top condition when theyre out alone in the desert chasing after a high value target.
