A grab bag of tight beats and riffs and threads of synthesised electronic sound pulled almost taut; all of that loosely bolted in place with no obvious regard to logic or order. It succeeds somehow, without imploding. The layers of sonic misdirection keeps you guessing as to how it was done. I am content to let it break against me without digging down to the kernel to find out how it all works.

A nice sound, but still can't help be put off by her shallow, ignorant views on metal. She says she did a deep dive on it yet thinks it is "cis hetero male dominated" so I feel like she couldn't have done much research. Metal is the most international and inclusive community in music.

Dominated doesn't mean there isn't diversity. It just means those that those who are most visible are cis hetero males. Every genre has diversity. But the face of metal is not diverse

Nailed the sounds and mood of metal but the vocals just threw all traces of metal out the window. I don't want to call it lazy because clearly work went into it but this is a pretty mediocre song because it clashes so tonally within itself. Maybe that's the point but I don't like it. This is the third song I've listened to on this album and it's just not doing it for me .
