You are right. The E-tickets are new and take the place of doing those entrance forms on the plane like we did 5 years ago.

Enjoyed hearing about what to do when you visit the Dominican Republic, Steve and Sue. It's funny but we're right on the border with Mexico. When we cross over they don't even ask for our passports. Just wave us though if there's even anyone there. Quite often there's not on entering Mexico. Whole different story coming back though! 😁😁 Beautiful room with your own private roof space. Sounds like a great resort! Thanks for bringing us along.

@@lisabryan9050 The Dominican Republic has no Covid requirements to enter or leave (at least for those from the US), and if you are a US citizen, there are no covid requirements to get back in the US. We had our masks on during our flights just to play it safe but not during our stay at the Majestic.

We did it about a week before our trip. Just have all your flight information available and make sure you do an entrance and exit form at the same time and it will give you two different QR codes. Also, one application covers the entire number of people in your party that are traveling with you

I went to the Dominican Republic just a few weeks ago and they didn't look at the E ticket either when we got there but needed it when we left, still a good idea to have one coming and going. I love the Dominican Republic and we are looking to go to Punta Cana in November we went to Samana. We were thinking of the Magestic Elegance, did you look around there, would you recommend this place you are reviewing and do you have any idea about the Elegance part. We are young seniors.

We have walked through the Elegance many times and some family members have stayed there and they liked it It's geared more towards adults and they have a dedicated adult section near the beach. So if you go there I would book the adult only section They're set up is very similar to the majestic colonial and the majestic mirage but again it's more geared l towards adults on vacation. I would have no qualms of actually staying there and when we go back that's probably the place we will stay as far as cost if not as expensive as a mirage but it's a little more expensive than the colonial but I think you get better food and drink than the colonial. Eticket question I filled out the form on line and printed the completed form do you have to do the same process for the return flight. You used to be able to fill a a paper at the airport does it have to be online again before you leave. Do I do fill it out each of us? Because it asked if you have a companion and I listed my husband. Thanks

Hello! You fill out the E-ticket twice before you leave. One for the flight to Punta Cana, and the other for your flight leaving Punta Cana. Do it before you start your trip. And, as long as you list your husband as your companion, you only need one E-ticket for both of you for arriving and for your departure. Hope that helps!

Great question! The resort has free Wi-fi in the rooms and throughout the resort. We have T-Mobile and they allow free texting back to the US (over the cell towers), and since they also have Wi-Fi calling we could make free calls back to the US when connected to Wi-Fi at the resort. For T-Mobile if you make a call using the cell towers, it works fine but cost 25 cents a min. Hope that helps! Thanks for asking a question! Cheers.
