High school's a joke. Too busy trying to fit in, impressing other's that don't care about you. Making a reputation for yourself that won't matter in a couple years. Holding on to friends that just don't talk to you anymore. I was majorly depressed back then and I would've told myself to just be more confident. And if you're still in HS, things really get better in and after college so hang in there!

@Titselo Mabuza Had a friend in high school who told me straight up all the people we knew really wouldn't matter because everyone honestly are all selfish in different ways. Not that its bad selfish but we are just all so focused on our lives at that point that most people are blurred out. We don't realize it but we do it to others as well. High school is where we try to find an identity, but end up creating a false one. Don't feel like your not an ideal friend. Its actually quite the opposite and your friend is the one who is not the ideal friend. I would carefully reconsider though if your still in highschool who you call friends. I didn't truly understand what a friend was until after highschool. Some people are fortunate and find true friends in high school but most end up finding them later on in life. Don't rush it, you'll find them. Keep your standards high as you always have, be the friend you'd want them to be, be humble, be genuine with them. The best and closest friends are the hardest to find, but like they always say in books when describing the feeling of finding those people, its as if the years faded away and became only seconds compared to the result

I love how she talks about everything very openly and honestly. I love how she opens her soul to us and share with us her thoughts so we can make sure that we're not alone. Sometimes she really describes some very little feelings and thoughts that we think they're naïve and we find them hard to describe, but she talks about them like she's telling us that what we think and feel is not stupid, not silly, our thoughts, struggles, problems, illnesses, they're all so important and meaningful. 🌠October 23, 2020🌠 🌻12 a.m.🌻 🌼"But fifteen doesn't lasts forever"🌼 Yay! I just turned 16 today!~♡ This song makes me smile and hopeful. Honestly, I'm terrified of the future and of becoming older. My life is full of negative things. The thing I hate most about myself is my negativity. As I grew older, I would see more of the world. My confidence and sense of self-worth are lacking. I'm insecure and like comparing myself to others. I know that if I step outside of my comfort zone, I will fail miserably. As a child, I was used to keeping my problems to myself. I'm in high school, and I get anxious in front of the class all the time. I fear that I will fail in life and never become the person I want to be. I tend to overthink things and put myself down since I know I'm terrible at everything. I'm shy, anxious, and insecure. I'm still learning to love the parts of myself that no one appreciates. I want to write a note to my future self, hoping to read it when I'm older. To my future self🌼, I hope you would able to see this message/comment in the future. I hope you aren’t afraid of finding out what others think of you. I hope your fear has subsided. Despite your anxiety, I hope you grow into the person you want to be. I'm hoping you won't second-guess now. I wish for you to be your greatest self. I wish you self-acceptance and love. I hope you don't cry at night now. I wish you never lose the desire to improve, learn new things, and become the best version of yourself. Every day, I hope you go to sleep and wake up feeling grateful and content. I mean sometimes even bullying might seem like friendship.
