The Ordinary is my favorite brand in the world. I have used and reviewed a few of their products too. I don’t think there is another brand that can make a complete skincare routine for less than $30 over 2 months. It is to the point that I do not even look at other brands and I’m actually suspicious of brands that don’t tell you the molecules or percentages contained in their serums/cream. I’m not spending $50 on mystery cream. Great video btw!

I just wanna say I have had a literal patch on the left side of my face of black heads that I could not get to come out no matter how hard i tried! I don’t put the acid all over, I just started putting it on the area I had blackheads (also the left side of my forehead/temple) and about a week ago (~3 weeks after use) I look in the mirror and the blackheads except maybe 1 or 2 are completely gone! Anyone with a similar issue may wanna give it a shot.

Retinoids are actually a class of compounds derived from vitamin A so retinol, retinal, or retinoic acid(tretinoin)are all retinoids. Retinol and retinal are more gentler Retinoids compared to a strong Retinoid like tretinoin. Which is why you need to get it prescribed from a dermatologist. Retinoids can be confusing tho so I don’t blame you😂 The video was really cool btw👌

For anyone using The ordinarys vitamin c and their nicinamide + zinc, the company has said that the way that they formulate those particular products doesn’t mix well for the skin! A lot of people have used both and not known, and their skin has become irritated! Just proceed with caution!

@jadapaller49484 жыл бұрын
I had used those two together for a while and over time it broke down my skins barrier. I ended up with a huge problem of red painful rashy swollen skin that I had to ice for a week. I’m 99% sure this is the combo that did it. It’s taken around a year to get my skin barrier back up it was red and had eczema-like patches for months. My skin would peel off every few hours. I used makeup to cover the redness and every couple hours new patches would lift at the corners and I’d have to remove all the flakes with tweezers and reconceal. Even the gentlest products would make my skin absolutely burn I had to resort to only using cera ve (even that burned at first) and pat it in- even the slightest rubbing motion would feel like fire!! Beware of extreme irritation over time with these you may not notice at first it took 3 or more months before my skin freaked out. Just a psa because it was an absolute nightmare

The first week I could feel my face being plumper & smoother when i wash it. And oils can be used before moisturizing. I always heard that & now they’re saying it doesn’t matter. These oils looks so much better under moisturizer. The squalane oil is awesome.

My in depth skincare routine (night) So first think I do is put the Neutrogena oil cleanser on a cotton round to remove my makeup. Next I go in with the CereVe foaming facial cleanser. After that (once every week) I go in with the ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% peeling solution and I wait 10 minutes then I take it off. After that I go in with a which hazel (not the brand which hazel another thing) toner on a cotton round. Then I use the lactic acid 10% + HA from the ordinary. Then the Niacinamide 10% and zinc 1%. After that I go in with the CereVe Dailey moisturizer. Then I put on the Aveeno eye cream. And lastly I put on the clean and clear drying lotion as a spot treatment. Ok so I know some of these are not Hyram approved but honestly all of these things helped my skin so much. Also wanted to add that every few days I go in with either the CereVe SA cleanser or the PanyOxyl cream cleanser. 😁

Seriously? It doesn't mean anything. I promote a product only if I use it on my skin and I've bought it with my money. Using an affiliate link doesn't cost anything to the person who buys and given that I give information and share my experiences and expertise, a little commission doesn't compromise my integrity. one time a company approached me asking to talk about their products and they offered me 5000 euros. I had to say no because these products were not something I would have tried myself. That's what is called integrity, not if someone giving useful info puts an affiliate link or not.

This is so much later than your comment but I have spent a lot of time on my skin & I’m not a professional but I always help my friends/family with their routines I would need a little bit more info to get a precise routine down like your skin type for example but here’s a simple one if your still searching If you are breaking out normally, you might want to try just a simple skincare routine bc sometimes too many products or too strong of products worsen it so here’s this & this addresses constant breaking out, acne prone skin, scarring, texture Also just a side note, your diet and of course hormones play a role in acne significantly so do try to make adjustments to what your eating bc you never know how much that can help! (: (maybe barely it will have an affect but who knows, it’s worth making small changes anyways for overall health) Morning & night: Simple micellar gel wash Pat face dry Niacinamide the ordinary Moisturize (choose the one below that’s best for your skin type) Twice a week, spaced out: AHA/BHA the ordinary Wear SPF for scars if living in sunny climate To remove makeup if you wear it: micellar water Now for moisturizer, here are the options for whatever skin type you are: Dry skin- CERAVE moisturizing CREAM Combo/normal skin- CERAVE moisturizing LOTION Oily skin- versed dew point gel cream Now after you use this skincare routine for a MONTH, try bringing in the renewing salicylic acid cerave cleanser ^this could irritate your skin at FIRST or not at all (again depends on your skin type really) so introduce it slowly into your routine But is very good @ preventing breakouts See how your skin reacts and if it fine and even helps after a MONTH of trying then you can use it as you wish either every night,every day or twice a day, everyday whatever your skin likes the best!! Hope this helps !!

I won't touch peptides anymore. They made my face look kind of droopy.

To anyone who has experience with the ordinary products.... could you help me out? :) I think I have normal to oily skin but because I’m a swimmer my skin is usually dry from swimming two hours in the chlorine. Like I can see the dryness on my face/dead skin. What products should I get to get rid of my acne and hydrate my skin? I also have some acne scars/redness and in some areas my pores on my cheeks look kind a big. I have the most acne on my forehead and chin and rarely on my cheeks. I’ve researched a lot and have narrowed it down to a couple things I think I should get: Aha bha peeling solution Niacinamide 10% zinc 1% Hyaluronic acid 2% + b5 Rose hip seed oil Glycolic acid or lactic acid??? Is this all I need? Please let me know what I should use and what I should add? And if you can order it the right way that would be great! Whoever helps out in anyway, thank you!!!!

I just stumbled upon this video, and Your bit about Niacinamide and vitamin C struck a cord. I saw the responses of using the two together and Honestly, I put the focus of my niacinamide on my acne-prone areas, my chin mostly, and my vitamin C on my cheeks and forehead.
