My hair loves this mask with out the egg and mayonnaise. It does make my hair thicker and more healthy. I was doing it every week until I discovered crochet braids. Now I only do it every 6-7 weeks to prep my hair for the next crochet style.

question, are you supposed to put the mask in before your wash your hair or after?

Sooo this method is old school but added with avocado 🥑. Mayo and eggs 🥚 works because it strengthens the hair follicles and if you are consistent every two weeks you will see your hair thickening and grow out. So what you do is to put an hot oil treatment on your hair first to morturize the hair. Do not wash it out… let it sit for 10 minutes then you put the hair mask in your hair put it all over your hair and let the mask sit in your hair for as long as you want to saturate your pores and hair BEFORE washing your hair…. For me I normally let it sit in my hair for two hours with a shower cap and a bonnet (because I wear crochet styles monthly so my scalp needs nourishment) sometimes I let it sit overnight then wash my hair the next day….. it’s up to you…. Always do the mask before you wash your hair to put the nutrients in your hair and it makes the hair healthier. Stay consistent with this routine and you will see a change in your texture of hair. Hope this helps
