WOW! Now that was a much more intense practice. Strapping the pads on makes all the difference. What a change from last year. We have a coach (Mace) that, when he barks out his dissatisfaction, the players can't help but pay attention. So excited for the season to start. Go Riders GO

Bike down for bit, blew tire and broke some spokes. I am probably to heavy and hauling to much stuff. Been good to me though got 3k on in 2yrs.

Jack had bad day yesterday but much better today. Right now can't really tell who has a leg up on getting on the roster.

lol you know what, the last time I blew a bike tire was on that same path. Sounds like the team had a real good practice today.

The offense did well today during the 12 on 12 scrimmage.

This season is squarely on the O line and pass protection from our RB. When Harris goes down we are no better than 4th in the west. Right turnstile position seems to be solved, LT is the big question mark again, so far. I’m hoping for more TE or FB plays and pass protection for Harris.

One real highlight is Hardrick. He is so positive at training camp and so upbeat. Think AJ in the backfield will help picking up what the oline misses.

I don't mind the losing if they put in the effort and they honestly tried and its just the other team was better it is what it is there has to be a winner as well as a loser. What I can't stand is after labor day they quit trying or easily give up if things arent going well. If they bring that same intensity to every game like they do labor day then they would be a serious grey cup contending team, but given how the past few years have gone..I don't see it, but just gonna have to wait till labor day is over to find out for sure given the changes with coaching. I like how mace gets involved with the players though where as dicky was more so passive or wanting to hold their hand kinda more of a baby sitter then a coach and having a coach that you want to play for while the coach holds up a higher standard makes quite a difference.

Looking good so far but we will see how the do in the first pre-season game. Is good not many players to the injury bug yet. Today 0 Milligan was back in action.

Have any of the young Canadian Olineman stood out at camp?

Not that I have seen. Will be watching them tomorrow should get a better idea then I hope. We definitely need one of them to step up. Can be assured that one of the CDN lineman will go down this season.
