I am a born and raised Canadian. I have also lived in saskatoon for most of my life. I stumbled upon this video and thought I'd check it out. Everything you said in your video is very accurate. You know exactly what you are talking about. Excellent job. The only thing I would add is that saskatoon is definitely better than Regina! Lol! And remember that some Canadians can be rude but the vast majority of us are very nice! Welcome to Canada!❤😊

Absolutely happy to help! We may all have different cultures (which everyone should take the time to get to know) but we all have the same basic needs for love, kindness and acceptance to name just a few. We all share the same planet and where we live shouldn't matter. One planet for all to share😁❤🌎 i swear I'm not a hippie lol! I just believe our actions can make the world a better place for all. Time for everyone to get on board with that.♥️🌎

Have one query to share with you and gather your perspective. We had mentioned Regina as our preferred place while doing documentation for PR process, later on realised Saskatoon is better. Now in our COPR, it is mentioned Regina only. Can we land in saskatoon instead of Regina OR we have to land in Regina only. Please reply. Thank you.

You two are very kind and your happiness is contagious! 😄 Thanks for sharing your opinions and perspectives with us. I’m looking for an opportunity to apply via SINP soon enough and deciding over Saskatoon vs Regina is (will be) part of the “challenge” 😊 (I may be wrong but - as far as I’m concerned - Regina looks like a more beautiful city than Saskatoon. What would you say?) Cheers from Brazil and keep doing the great work. Thanks again! PS: I have friend in Saskatoon then I believe the game is pretty much decided. 😂😄

There are many community centers/ civic centers here in saskatoon. Buildings that provide inexpensive rates for swimming both for family and for lessons. They also have full gyms, basketball court, exercise classes of all kinds. They also have libraries. You can pay a monthly fee and take part in any of the activities you want during that month. I think its around 30$ a month? Not sure but I do know it is much cheaper than regular gyms and much more inclusive to the entire family. There is Lawson civic center (on the west side of thd city), lake wood civic center (,,on the east side) to mention a couple. Canada is beautiful! Im so glad you both like it here. We have plenty of space in Canada. Room to share😊 especially for sweet families like yours. And way less scary than the states😳😬 yikes! P.s. Two of our kids went through U of S It is very expensive but totally worth it! One has a degree in computer science and the other will have a teaching degree in a few months. We may have to send our third kid to Regina since its cheaper lol!

I have lived in both cities, 5 years in Saskatoon and 12 years in Regina. I studied at the university of Saskatchean in Saskatoon. Saskatoon is much better city. However, Regina can offer more government jobs. If you’re young Saskatoon is a fun city. Also don’t forget, the tab water is much better in Saskatoon. Saskatoon has lots of competition for jobs etc I’ve noticed

They forgot to cover the house rent in both the places as I neither have a friend nor family in Canada. My main concern was that and not the gas price, because having a shelter is more imp than owning a car. For a senior on low pension income which city do you recommend, and why? I get the impression that although purchase prices for properties are significantly different the rents for rooms in a shared house or apartment are very similar. Which Gurudwara for langar do you prefer? Where are there more Indians, and I don't mean from Bharat? Which bus system is better? I am considering moving from Alberta because Calgary is too difficult to find basic rooms for under $600 per month and the city is too spread out. It takes me forever to go from point A to point B. I don't care about winter temperatures because as a snowbird I spend six months per year in India, I will be in SK only Apr - Oct.

Hi sir, I have created an Express Entry profile in IRCC website and my CRS score is quite low(367). Therefore, I have been looking for SINP. My question is.. can I apply through SINP-OID stream even though I have my profile waiting in EE pool. I found that, while creating EOI profile, user have to select "No" to this question -- "Have you been accepted into Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada's Express Entry pool and have an Express Entry Profile Number?" Is it appropriate to select "No" even when I have EE profile or I can select "No" can go ahead with SINP-OID stream?

You dont mention how unbearably cold it gets in the winter..A very important fact...Regina has more than one set of train tracks running through the city ..So its just not a Saskatoon thing ..
@gulatifamilyincanada3184 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. As far as the winter is concerned, it is actually getting better every year. May be it is just that we have got used to it, when i talk to people here they say it does not get nearly as cold as it used to be in the past. The train track in Saskatoon is annoying due to its presence in downtown. Thanks for your input on this. Please share to support.
