Hello sir and mam, thanx for sharing this information regarding child education.but I have certain questions regarding school admission, please can you tell me if I will come from india to Regina in September or October (applied in sinp program) .Is admission will be possible for kid or we have to wait for the whole semester for addmission or we need to know about kid interview. Hello Gurveer ji, Thank you so much for watching this video. The houses are cheap in Saskatchewan when compared to Ontario and BC. The cost of 2 bedroom apartment is about $250,000, townhouses are about $300,000 and detached houses are over $400,000. There are lots of factors like the age of house, the lot size, community that defines the price. The property taxes on the other hand are ranging from $2600 to about $5000 again depending on the area and the lot size. So now about the income for good life, someone making $25K to $40K can lead a good life too with nice town house. Thank you so much for all your support.

Hello Irfan, English for your child won't be a problem at all. School will assess and might ask her to attend some english classes, but you will be surprised to see her in 2 or 3 months she will be on par with any other kid here. Hello Gulati family. I have always known that minor children's education in public schools, upto secondary/high school is FREE. I am geting conflicting information that It may not be so for kids coming from outside Canada (they call them International Students). I am coming on a study permit myself (college) and my husband on an open work permit. My kid will also get a study permit. Your inputs are well appreciated.

Please watch our video on how to find rental place and in that video we have mentioned good locations to stay and all the schools around those locations are good. Here in SK there is no rating system of school as such, all residential areas have schools. Just pick any of the good residential place and you will find good schools there. Thanks

Hello Preet, thanks for watching this video. To register your kids to school you need to go the SPSD's website (link provided in the video description box) and then make an appointment with Newcomer student centre they will then help you with all the admission procedure. School board here is very accommodating and would register your child even after september but I would highly recommend to register before the session starts so that the child does not feel left out in the class.
