Awesome video, and such a wonderful hike! I have never seen that many shades of natural green. Wow the moss was like complete ground cover, and for the boulders of all different sizes had such beautiful moss. A few boulders with a little bit of short moss made me think that, that little guy was just starting puberty and oh so proud of his fresh peach fuss. How the world is all tied together is wonderful and amazing. I know, comparing peach fuss to the green lush moss is somewhere beyond, out-there. Sorry, but my mind just goes there. I am sitting here catching my breath after seeing the jumbled trees laying about like pixie-sticks, while laughing at myself. Thank you Daron for all that you do for all of us! I've never even considered killing one of these people but if they had hurt your friend (horse) I would change the way I think about these people. But I'm happy they didn't hurt your friend. I do wish they would have left your mule alone and found food somewhere else. Thanks again to you both for sharing this with all of us. God bless you both.

I'm glad Leo gifted us with another one of his encounters. I too would have been royally pissed with losing an animal...his mules are valuable tools to him. And like him, I hope the poor thing was killed quickly. But you're right- what can you do? When you see the size of these things, you quickly realize that you are NOTHING compared to them...that's a very humbling experience. Thank you, Leo, for this. Like you, Daron, I could listen to his adventures ALL DAY. He was blessed with a life well-lived & has the stories to prove it! Thank you, Daron, for another lovely hike. I'm not one of those impatient people, only here for the emails...I come for it ALL! Keep safe! Glad the back's even better!👍👍

Im glad you mentioned what those red trees were. I was gonna ask about them from your last video. PS.. its all fun and games till you poke your eye out😂 You're 100% right about not hearing the animals. I was sitting on a hill side with my back against a tree for a couple hrs scanning the woods. I had to pee so I stood up and turned around and 10' in front of me was a 8 point buck. I slowly reached over to pick up my rifle that was leaning against the tree and took the shot. Now that's multi tasking there. I put my junk away zipped up and collected my deer.

I was chasing a doe thru the woods one time and i was on the trail that i last saw her on. It was a huge path, like a deer highway. I lost signt of her for a monute and when i stopped at the creek, decided to give up and go back the way I came in, I walked about twenty yards, looked to my right, and there she was. She got off the trail, stopped and let me walk right past her! I didnt stop walking when I saw her, like I didn't see her, and she stood perfectly still and watched me walk. That was about thirty years ago and it forever changed the way I walk through the woods.

Leo sounds like a heck of a man and he tells his story really well. Glad to hear he got Jeb back okay; having been blessed with the same good horse in my life for 20 years, I can imagine the fear he must have had of losing his friend while he was looking for him. Please get your eye checked out, Daron. I got a bit of horse hoof in one of mine (trimming hard feet in the summer) and it quickly became a nasty infection with a scratched eyeball - really painful and needed some serious antibiotics to fix it. Don't mess with eyes, especially when you need 3D vision to check if stumps are really stumps 😉

Hey Daron, First off, great to see the hiking views, and that yur back has improved... if yur eye continues to bother you, get it checked buddy, im sure you will, it's easy to put things off ive done that ... Leo's experience mind blowing thats putting it mildly... any animal you own even a mule gets taken like that must be very disturbing emotionally... that's definitely something no one would forget, ive been thru traumatic events and you can suffer flashbacks like it's yesterday, so i can empathize and understand, though not exactly in the same manner, and Leo being able to recall it like yesterday, we can only but imagine, that's personal to him, having them 15ft away, thats too close for comfort when you read that out b4 Daron, the Ron Moorehead vocalisations have been verified it's not human or animal as youve said... theyve been over analysed and theyve come out with the same conclusions... Daron , thanks again for sharing these experiences with us, and I only just saw this today... Thanks again for the scenery as well and appreciate everything yur doing to help those whove had these encounters or come across evidence (footprints etc)... Animals are stealthy in their habitat, even domestic animals in the home can surprise you, especially cats , so, in the wild can imagine yur surprise sittin there and you turn and a Moose is there yur like "oh 💩 didnt hear that creep up" .... Thanks Daron Paul , in UK...

Would be absolutely amazing if you and Leo would do an interview recorded for us. Not just about these hairy men but absolutely anything he’d share about his adventures. It’s wisdom that’s hard to find about “the real world” (as Steve calls it and I agree). What a life, what a man! Gushing over Leo though my heart’s broken over his mule. I hate he had to go through that experience but the fact he held it together-even for the hunters, really speaks volumes on his character.

A bottle of Visine (eye drops) are essential for hiking by oneself!!
@Magravated12 сағат бұрын
That is pure poison for your eyes. I always used it until my eye doctor told me to stop. I had complained that I was using more and more of it and she offered me a natural alternative. It doesn't "get the red out", but it soothes your eyes way better than Visine. I'm finding that most natural remedies work best. Those cures have been socially put to the side as fake or ineffective medicine because there's no money in it for big pharma. Pretty sad.

I've always thought mules were smarter than horses, because if you harm one of them they nevet forget and least when you suspect it they'll get even. You also can't run them until their heart explodes and their lungs give out where blood comes out of their nose looking frothy...they have a very strong sense of self preservation. If you develope a trust with them and have one you sadd;e ride, there have been instances where they throw the riders only to be able to fight cougars or other predators to protect you and them. There's a video of just such and instance that has been circulating on the internet for longer than youtube has been around. I love my horses too, but they have limitations, one being not as sure footed as a mule. I no longer own a mule and don't plan on getting another because they live a long time and I like to get them as a weanling to start training them. Thank the gentlman that wrote in his story about the Sasquatch taking his mule. I would've been angry too. Thank you Darren for sharing these experiences with us as we all learn & grow in our knowledge and understanding of these beings. Stay safe and healthy and say hello to Mrs. Outlaw for me. Leo’s story- Wow! At least Sasquatch do not (hopefully) consider us food. If someone killed one of my animals I would feel the same way as Leo. But then, human history is often told and measured by the wars we conduct, that is, by stories of men killing men. We don’t hear of Sasquatch killing each other. Who’s more the animal.

I do not trust these creatures, I feel sorry for people who do,no matter how passive your encounter may seem. I believe you’re setting your self up for failure and opening yourself up for real trauma that could quite possibly change the rest of your life in a truly horrible way. Hey Mr Outlaw , greetings from Australia, another great video , thank you. In Australia we call these creatures Yeties. I think I saw one once in the middle of nowhere in the bush. I have no doubt at all that these creatures/people exist , I would love a definitive answer on how those healthy trees snap and end up at the same angle all the time. We dont have bears here, apart from Koala bears lol, but there are still lots of beasties wanting to bite you.I particularly liked your "see you later dipshit" reply , all these trolls need to find something more constructive to do with their lives. Keep the great content coming please it is much appreciated , stay safe and I agree with the other comment, get that eye checked out.

@Juanita617318 сағат бұрын
It's a trap, the pick-up-sticks area you came across. That was all intentionally made that way to trap deer, bear, elk - what have you that are been pursued by a fast and furious bigfoot. They get into that mess and can't easily get out, especially if they're surrounded. It could be a trap for surprised humans stumbling upon it like you did. You try running out of that mess if you were suddenly alerted to something like sasquatch. Moral of the story...don't wander into that again, maybe...
