Hi guys! I'm back again, and this time with a requested video. I received requests to do hauls and also to do a Día de los muertos (Day of the Dead) altar. I had to do some serious research to make this video. I didn't know much about what belongs on an altar and still I found lots of altars are put together in different ways. So, if I did something 'wrong', it was not intentional; I am not an expert. I just thought it was a nice idea to make one for my friend Linda, whom passed away unexpectedly last year, and whom I miss very much. In any case, I hope no one finds this video morbid. It is actually supposed to be quite the opposite. Day of the Dead is to celebrate the life (and afterlife) of those you love, who have passed on. I hope you find it informative and relaxing. ~SassE.

Hello, when I first found your SassEsnacks channel the asmr youtube community was new to me and it has changed my life. When I started watching your eating videos I was newly pregnant and suffering with morning sickness so eating was something I missed but just couldn't do, therefore I would live vicariously through your videos. You also opened my world to tingles and helped me relax when anxiety took over. My son is now 2 years old and loves all things food & he also enjoys watching eating shows with me, I like to think all those videos I watched of yours had some sort of in utero affect on him lol. I have my main altar but also one for my ancestors and others for different deities ans so on! I keep my ancetral altar all year long, just change it up now and then! I've never thought of making an altar before, I think this is a great idea to honour my parents life this year but with the chilean background.Thank you so much for sharing this mexican tradition. BTW, many of us have adopted their tradition to go to visit their loved ones graves by night, they go with lights, flowers, music, even food to celebrate their lives at the cemetry. I'm glad someone requested this video. I really enjoyed learning about Day of the Dead and making this altar. I was really surprised at how pretty it came out, especially with the candles on.
