Looking to buy the Turbo CVT Tekna, loved the drive. Like you said, the perceived quality was good. No daily drives, normal city driving and planned long drives. The rubber band in the i20 felt way worse. Want an automatic only.

Key point missed : turbo in manual kicks in at 2800 rmps . At that rpm drover would have changed gear so rpm will come down or if you keep revving the fuel efficiency will go for a toss. The only recommended variant is the turbo cvt whose turbo kicks in at 2200 rpm though worse than other turbos in segment but still better compared to manual .

This is wrong....the max torque kicks in at 2400 rpm onwards till bout 4k.....it already has good torque (around 130-140 nm) even at 14-1600 rpm....you can google Nissan 1 litre turbo torque to rpm curve....I have magnite manual trust me it pulls really well beyond 1500 rpm

@nayneshdev i havent seen graphs and all . The test drive i took in manual its did not feel at par with other 1 ltr turbo nott even the maruti boosterjet. And the 2800 rpm is mentioned in magnite specs on Nissan website and popular car websites as well. The cvt the torque kicks in lot earlier 2200 rpm and we can feel it as well.

Thank you so much for such a great video. Not a single second I skipped. I was thinking to consider Nissan Magnite CVT Turbo as I'm using Nissan Micra CVT. However, need to think again. Because my Micra give 13-14 real time average in summer and 15-16 in winter. This includes my traffic from Panipat to Cyber Hub Gururgam during peak time in morning and evening. I'm thinking to upgrade to something which can give 16-17 real world mileage. My preference is with in 4 meters, proper automatic(TC, CVT or DSG if there is any). No AMT or AGS or whatever. No Mahindra and Tata please. Their after sale service sucks. Magnite, you have already covered. Thanks a ton for this. My list is as below, if you even consider Skoda Kylaq, Fronx Turbo, i20 Asta Amaze(to be new one), Citroen C3 Turbo. I don't want to go in भेड़ चाल. Even Citroen kind of thing would also work for me. I want comfort, all factory fitted things(no after market fitment) kind of top model and sub 4 meters segment.

Mere pass micra manual hai 14 -15 in city deti hai , kayi video iski dekhi hai highway pe 18-19 turbo manual ya CVT de degi , city mei micra jitni mil hi jayegi I hope.. I live in chandigarh, yaha toh 14-15 in city de degi turbo manual. Baaki agar mai proper gear shift Karu toh micra 16-17 bhi di hai mujhe without ac speed 50-60 in city , throttle body cleaning karayi thi recently.. Service center pe ek mila tha magnite owner old 1.2 NA vala voh bol raha tha 2 saal mei 40k chala di hai , highway pe 23 nikali iski mileage. Driving skill ache honge uske..

First of all kwid ke engine se kuch part share karta hai same engine nahi hai bhai....Kwid mein SCE series ka engine aata hai...aur Magnite/Kiger/Triber mein B4 series ka engine aata hai bhai aur turbo mein HRAO series ka engine aata hai. Mere paas triber hain Gangtok,sikkim ke steepest chadhai pe chadh gayi hai aramse with 5 adults and full boot luggage. Pahadi pe aram se chal jata hai iska NA engine kyinki low end pe torque diya gaya hai bhai. Pehle main to dar raha tha chadhega ki nahi....but chalane ke baad confidence aa gaya aramse chadh gaya steepest climbs....130 tak highway pe chala chuka hoon...aur 19 ka mileage mila hai highway pe NA engine se. Aur pahadi pe 11 12 ka mila average.

The turbo model is powerful for hills especially with CVT where you don't think about shifting gears. Bolero Neo is for absolutely no roads, harsh offroading otherwise this is better

This is somewhat true for the pre-facelift model that I have, the stiffer suspension is due to higher ground clearance...if you want softer ride then I think none of the crossovers are good may be you should look for maruti wagonr or likes...test ride in the back seat

Aapko chlani hi pdegi and later exchange me deni pdegi. 2.5 automatic variant ka price hai. Manual me Agr is se bhi kam me mil jae to deal buri nhi hai. Car no doubt achi hai. Good suspension, handeling, no body role and most important safest car. All the best. My Micra is also 2015 XV CVT (Top model). I purchased 1 year back in 2.8 with brand new tyres(200 KM driven only)
