Does this sword have mekugi pegs and can it still take impact when cutting? Because I know the battle ready katanas are meant to take some impact and stay strong so does this sword do the same?

More like ninjato (and Zatoichi inspired Shikomizue) than katana. Ninjato swords are created to stab, like in the movies, ninjas stab their target through doors and floors inside the target area like an inn, a hut, a palace etc. which is also hard to swing a katana around. 1:25 that's dangerous sir, you have to learn how to basically sheath a blade back to the saya.

Tempted to buy the sharp one for self defense in the household. But then I realized... the design of Sasuke's blade isn't practical in the real world.. Not having a hilt opens up the possibilities of slipping and grabbing the blade... or someone hitting your hand very easily.. In my opinion, if you're going to get a sharp sword, get one you can practically use. Sasuke's design is cool for show, though.

I know it's very late and you are right about a guard being optimal for stabbing, just wanted to point out they do have a special way of stabbing with this sword, where you essentially place your flat palm on the end of the handle and push only with this hand, so you don't accidentally cut yourself.

The blade is definitely not easily breakable. Yes, the hilt and sheath are made of wood. We don't recommend hitting anything hard with it, only soft targets like fruit because hitting something the sword can't cut through can definitely be harmful and damage the piece.
