Sure Sasuke would've lost in a fair fight against Kages, but man this whole sequence of him jumping on every Kage and their guards is epic as hell. It introduces a tonn of new characters and various abilities and adds to familiar ones (like Jugo's berserk mode and Susanoo). So purely dynamic and fiery. Sasuke's descent to madness is frustrating but entertaining to watch, you also know he's not fully wrong. I have no problems with this arc.

Man Sasuke was just 16 here and already stronger than all the Kage. The Uchiha are truly a Force of Nature!!!! If Gaara hadn’t appeared and Ay went through with his Gullitonie Kick Darui would have gotten a Promotion for Raikage 🤣. Keep in Mind that Sasuke at that point didn’t even summon Susanoo’s arms or the full Skeleton of it. Also Liger Bomb didn’t even scratch Susanoo so the Gultione Kick would only have cracked it and even if it broke Sasuke would just have used Susanoo’s arm to punch Ay away who by then would be completely engulfed by the Amaterasu and would have burned slowly and painfully to death unless Sasuke decided to Spare. As for Gaara. Gaara, Temari and Kankuro all three together admitted right in front of the Suna Council that they were lucky that Sasuke wasn’t after them cuz if Sasuke actually wanted it he would’ve easily killed all SIX of them with the Susanoo

Yup. He technically couldn't even beat the Raikage. The Raikage would've lost an arm and a leg, but Sasuke would've lost his life. Then Sasuke got saved again by Zetsu vs Mizukage. Then saved by Obito vs. Tsuchikage. Sasuke is lucky destiny was on his side from the start. That's what a brat gets for waltzing into a room full of kages and thinking he could win just cause he has the Sharingan.

Madara- who is heads and shoulders above Sasuke in terms of EMS, even he had trouble with the 5 kages (well tbf as well they had Tsunade who is a complete monster). It's debatable if Madara didn't have the Rinnegan and wasn't an Edo if he'd even win. My guess would be no since he no longer has unlimited chakra.

@@TyTimeIsAwesome Madara didn't really have trouble. They weren't absolutely nothing to him, but he was holding back the whole fight. He even said "What adult goes all out against mere children?" And the moment he pulled out the PS, they knew they had no chance. And Sasuke learned the PS against Juubito when he wrapped it around the Kurama Avatar. Plus, Sasuke would be fighting them one on one sequentially in this situation because that's how he fought them here. And he would easily win like that. In a 5v1 either team would win with extremely high diff.

Deidara already lost that battle before he comitted suicide. What Deidara did was an act of cowardice that came out of the frustration that he could not defeat Sasuke. In his fight with Danzo, Sasuke was going against a person who was almost immortal due to the fact that he possesed so many Sharingans that he could sacrifice for Izanagi. And Sasuke was able to kill him many times not just once. Against the 5 kage, obviously I am aware that he couldn’t have taken all of them. It was absurd. But he still managed to put up a good fight with all of them mainly because of his Susanoo, which yes, was designed to be OP. That was already foreshadowed in his fight with Itachi. I understand that you don’t like him, I don’t like him either tbh, mainly because he got so many power ups but he was really going against the strongest people in the show at that point of time. He wasn’t going to win, obviously, he was a child who barely awoke his MS, he had zero battle experience, but in each battle I personally feel like he was getting better😅

I find it funny how some people think this arc is in anyway an L for Sasuke. First of all Sasuke was not planning to fight the other Kage other than Danzo, he was waiting for Danzo only until Zetsu snitched on him telling the Kage he was there. Secondly, the fact that Sasuke even survived at all is a win, how many people can survive multiple Kage? Sure he got help but he's still alive. Huge respect for Sasuke for following orders of just crashing the summit and trying to take out the Hokage by himself even when he's at 35-40%. Okay, let's get down to facts. I always thought Sasuke got his ass kicked by the Kage, but I'm currently rewatching the anime and I've got to admit, he was a freaking badass. He's not at the level of some of them yet, but he held his own, like a freaking mini Madara. The Raikage for all his bluster lost his hand, and that final kick would have cost him his legs, or worse. Sure he might have taken Sasuke down with him, but Sasuke would have still taken down, one of the strongest Kage. He freaking killed the Interim Hokage (Danzo) and even against the Mizukage it didn't seem like he was close to giving up yet. She was melting everything around him, but the look in his eye said it all (Not yet bitch) the only real moment I felt his life was about to end was against the Tsuchikage, but that's what happens when you don't know all of your opponent's abilities. In short I feel like Sasuke gained way more infamy from this attack, than the 5 kage did, considering they weren't able to take him hostage or prevent Danzo's death ( Not that they mind, but it's all about optics, it just looks bad 🤣). And he did all this, while slowly losing his eyesight, if that ain't clapping on your foes I don't know what is. We went crazy when we found out Itachi was fighting blind, so how 'bout we give Sasuke some credit for it as well.

Sasuke constantly needs help though, he would have died to killer bee 3 times. Raikage would have killed him to. Zetsu saved him from getting killed by chozuru, the particle style would have erased him but Tobi came in and saved him. Also Danzo would have killed him but again Tobi saved him by interfering with the fight..

@@ron8162 I think it comes down to one thing. He didn't ask for the help and even whether or not he needed it was irrelevant. It's simply logical to use every tool at your disposal. Killer Bee used the 8 tails, Raikage used his entourage as well, and Danzo was basically constantly cheating death thx to all the Sharingans he implanted.

More like OVERRATED!!!!!! If Gaara hadn’t appeared and Ay went through with his Gullitonie Kick Darui would have gotten a Promotion for Raikage 🤣. Keep in Mind that Sasuke at that point didn’t even summon Susanoo’s arms or the full Skeleton of it. Also Liger Bomb didn’t even scratch Susanoo so the Gultione Kick would only have cracked it and even if it broke Sasuke would just have used Susanoo’s arm to punch Ay away who by then would be completely engulfed by the Amaterasu and would have burned slowly and painfully to death unless Sasuke decided to Spare. As for Gaara. Gaara, Temari and Kankuro all three together admitted right in front of the Suna Council that they were lucky that Sasuke wasn’t after them cuz if Sasuke actually wanted it he would’ve easily killed all SIX of them with the Susanoo

I remember being shocked when the manga reached this fight and A dodged the amaterasu. it was strongly implied from previous usage that it was unavoidable and the target was in deep trouble if the user took dead aim with it. The fact that he could dodge an attack that materializes near instantly on target was frightening and he had strength to back it up too. A had Sasuke on the ropes after only one successful hit and would've killed him with the second if Gaara hadn't interfered. Yeah, amaterasu would've burned him to death after Sasuke had died but that's how much A wanted him DEAD. This fight also hyped up the anticipation of Minato's appearance. If A was this fast and he openly admitted to being slower than Minato... Then how fast was Minato going to be?

The answer couldn't be more simplier - Gaara stopped the kick from the Raikage with just a little bit of sand. You would be out of your mind to think that a thin layer of chakra infused sand is stronger than Susanoo. Sasuke was gonna tank the hit while setting the entire body of Raikage on fire.
