To address people stealing Uchiha or Hyuga eyes after death, this was more or less alluded to in the Naruto vs Neji fight all the way back in the Chunin exams. Remember how the curse mark was placed on all Hyuga branch family members? Upon their deaths it would 'seal' their eyes, preventing enemies from making use of them. Of course this doesn't apply to the main family, as the branch would theoretically protect their bodies before they could get stolen. As for all the Sharingan eyes, lets just see for now lol.

I found the whole thing incredibly mid aside from his ‘The world shall know Pain’ line and the cycle of hatred speech (which, really, isn’t even that deep - it just comes as a surprise because the rest of the show is shown through Naruto’s naive eyes). This 5 Kage arc is far FAR more impressively put together. And I say that as a writer myself.

Coz that's quite subjective and fair enough, there are some good fights, but the pain arc is just king due to its emotional rollercoaster it takes you on, from Jirairas death, to the whole mystery of who pain is, to the village being destroyed, to the viable dilemma which Naruto faces, the nostalgia between them both having the same teachings yet different backgrounds and different outcomes as a result of their different forms of suffering, even hinatas bravery of revealing her emotions and development in terms of skills, as a viewer I feel waaay more watching the pain arc.

Technically Sasuke hasn’t done anything to hidden leaf yet. He is rogue ninja that was going for revenge. Now that “Tobi" told him truth he has shifted his revenge. But still has yet to commit a crime against hidden leaf. At this point him and Naruto’s character development has been two sides of the same coin. Beautifully written great reaction guys. I get a little impatient whenever Ron tries to understand Juugo's abilities, considering he isn't all that important and he's a bit of an anomaly like most of Orochimaru's test subjects. However, the theorizing about Orochimaru making a Wood Style-Sharingan Frankenstein is good. Too good! Orochimaru was definitely on to something, and this is why his intelligence and influence extend far beyond mere fighting prowess, pedigree, battle experience, and the other things for which people usually recognize a ninja.

Ron has already seen several examples of extreme physical manipulation and incomprehensible body structures: Shino's body being a hive for bugs, Sakon and Ukon merging with each other or other people, Kidomaru being a spider, Kimimaro and his bones, Sasuke growing wings in CS2, Orochimaru casually vomiting his own body from his own mouth and reattaching his bifurcated body, Hidan's unexplained immortality, Kakuzu's thread-like tentacles and zombie-like creatures, Zetsu splitting in two, etc. What's so weird about Juugo's transformations? lol

Im sure people on Patreon have explained it already, but the reason we haven’t seen many people take Sharingan and Byakugan is because of the huge drawback of having one without being a uchiha or hyuga clan member: you cant turn it off. The eyes can be put in a dormant mode but never fully deactivated, so it will ALWAYS be draining your chakra by alot. This is why most characters who have stolen eyes keep them covered, not to hide them, but to reduce their usage as much as possible so they drain less chakra. For example, its been confirmed that in a world where Kakashi did not get the sharingan, his chakra reserves would be exponentially greater, but its been traded away for the eye instead. Any other normal or even high level ninja without huge chakra reserves like his would barely be able to cast a single jutsu before collapsing if they had one

Simply put, having Dojutsu (special eyes) requires large chakra reserves, especially if it isn’t natural/was taken from someone from another clan. For example Nagato has some of the most chakra in the entire series so he can use the rinnegan but if a normal ninja tried they probably instantly drain all their chakra and just die like kakashi did.

The stone faces when a non-Hyuuga and non-Leaf shinobi activates their Byakugan. 😂 I’m pretty sure these have been answered already, but: it’s not like anyone can just get their eyes replaced with doujutsu/special eyes (Sharingan, Byakugan, Rinnegan). At least not both eyes because there’s a huge chakra draw from them (example: Kakashi). That’s why you see everyone cover them up, so they can preserve energy although Ao’s Byakugan might be a little different. Having both eyes be occupied by doujutsu would just drain you and make you useless. As far as Jugo is concerned, I don’t know why exactly you’d think he’d be weak. He may be weaker, but if you’re really strong and get weaker, you could still be strong. This is, I believe, the first time we see him *FULLY* transform, so if he seems stronger than previous times, then that’s because he’s finally going all out. Him being in a kid form wouldn’t mean anything either because Sasuke, Kimimaro, and the Sound Four were all kids and went full 2nd stage Curse Mark. On top of that, the Curse Mark comes from Jugo’s own body, so he is quite literally “built different” and he’d be able to use it better than anyone.

Another thing to keep in mind about different eyes like sharingan, bakyugan, rinnegan. They all consume an enormous amount of chakra, even more so when it's an ability or power your body isn't supposed to be able to use. Kakashi gets worn out quickly while using his sharingan. Some clans naturally possess high amounts of chakra and could probably manage with no issue, but I can get into that without spoils.

If I’m remembering correctly, I think the whole eye taking thing is a reminder that a ninjas body holds secrets and special abilities, so I believe they said a comrade must bring a dead teammates body back or destroy it, so another village or nation doesn’t reap those benefits. So yeah, I think it is common to steal ocular powers should you survive or beat someone who has one. Just look at Pain who stole those body’s to use their jutsus.

It also takes a lot of mana to use these eyes. And the hyuga and uchiha clan are more adept and conditioned to utilize their eyes. While if someone from the outside was to steal it, it takes a lot of time just to master it and use it efficiently. Even kakashi tries not to use it a lot, because it drains his mana like crazy, its just a last resort if he's facing an enemy that is pretty strong.

The thing with eyes is that, you probably cant handle having implanted eyes because remember that Kakashi struggles already with it because it consumes too much chakra. Kakashi stayed in bed for weeks after using the Mangekyo once. So basically you must have a tank of chakra to handle one eye, probably just Naruto or Gaara could implant a Sharingan or Byakugan amf use it to its full potential

The casual eye swapping does get very annoying and is very jarring to watch, but generally speaking, it's noteworthy that if you are not from the clan that naturally manifests special eyes, it is very chakra draining to use. Also, at least in the case of the sharingan, it appears that people who implant the eye can't deactivate it meaning it is always draining some chakra. That's why Kakashi keeps it covered with his headband.

Well there is problem too when you plug special eyes, they consume too much chakra that's why Kakashi covers it to minimixe the chakra drain(and also sharingan can't be activated and deactivated if person isn't uchiha that's why Kakashi and Danzo have sharingan 24/7) Same issue with Byakugan but atleast it change be activated and deactivated. Bc of these Hyuga has Main branch and side branch system where the side branch protects the Main, and when they die the curse mark probably affect their Byaguya in way that it's looses it's power or can't be activated(PURE SPECULATION) while Sharingan can't be on/off and even PPL like Kakashi becomes low on chakra just by using it for a mins so Uchiha didn't need Main/Side system to protect their eye and other thing is these eyes are Clan's pride in a way so if you roam around with these they will 💀 you

It's not going to be that easy to acquire either an Uchiha or Hyuga eye though. Unless the eye is being offered up to you or incapacitate one that has it in a fight it's going to be pretty fucking hard to obtain. The village also would surely keep these abilities closely guarded. And even if you are within the same village I believe both the Uchiha and the Hyuga are going to willingly offer up their eye/ability/secrets if they are not in the same family.

U cant have both eyes, because if these eyes are not covered, it will drain up their chakra. Thats why kakashi and danzo had to cover when outside of combat

I mean you can take 2 eyeballs, but dont forget that these guys close their to preserve chakra. Even then small amount of usage can be taxing and you cant deactivate not natural dojutsu. Also it's as useful as any other jutsu. You have to train it to make most out of it. There are still many fodder Uchiha and Hyuga ninjas. We only know the best ones so even if you have dojutsu it still can be useless.
