The question asks for an equivalent equation that has the vertex (point A) written as 2 constants, not for the x-intercepts. Standard form is x^2-2x-15. Vertex intercept form is (x-1)^2-16. He found the vertex by looking at the graph but if you wanted proof you just have to complete the square which will rewrite the standard as vertex intercept form.

Well, I did the test. It was easy overall. The hardest section for me would definitely be the reading, the history+literature part was heavily confusing in my opinion. The other sections were easy, and I'm expecting a score of around 1300-1400.

Getting tricked by the SAT 101, dont count the half points

It was a trick made to stump the test takers up. Basically, each square is 1/4 the size of the actual x coordinate. If you look at the number labels for h, every 4 tiles = the next whole number. 3/4h is actually 3 tiles/ 16 tiles. 3/1h is the true 3 tiles/ 4 tiles, which is the slope. Hope that makes sense, the SAT really does try to rattle people’s reasoning

For the question number 26, why did you consider x+ 0.2x = 144 Why can't we consider it as x + 0.2 = 144🤔 They just said that "Type A trees produced 20 percent more than Type B trees did"

Your equation pretty much says .2 more than, not 20% more than. If it helps think of it this way: .2 is just a constant. It doesn't mean percent unless it's multiplied to a number. Also, logically if you went with your equation, you'd be saying that any number + .2 is 20% more than that number. It follows that if you plug 100 in to your equation, you get 100.2, basically saying that .2 is 20% of 100, which of course isn't true.

Because it was decimal so if we Multiply it by 100 it will not be decimal so we can solve easily

It is the entire area 10m x 10m = 100 sqrt m. When you summarize all earthworms in the table which are approximate 1500. The table comes from 10 students. So I should divide 10 to get an average of 1 region = 150 earthworms for 1 region which has 1 sqrt m. Therefore, you multiplied by 100 for the entire area 150*100 = 15,000 earthworms.
