God never allows the devil to win. He has a Permitting Will. He allows things that happen for the best of a soul-God always wins. Remember, God knows what each soul needs for salvation, even though we can’t see it or understand it.

Jesus was not born in winter/December time and there is no instruction in the scriptures to make a feast called christmas or to celebrate His birth. The origins of Christmas stem from both the pagan and Roman cultures and is now a strong tradition but many Christians have been woken up to the travesty of c/mas and they will not observe it as being anything more than a public holiday. Jesus told us what to do in remembrance of Him and that is written in scripture for our guidance.

Zachariah had the vision of the angel around the feast of tabernacles .. approximately late September ..when his wife Elizabeth became pregnant with John the baptist.. She had been pregnant 6 months when the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary ...this would be late March .. John was born in June and his feast is 24th June ... 9 months after March is December ... Factoring in the Jewish feasts makes sense.

Who told you that? Was it pastor Billy Bob? Did he or you pick up a Bible one day and you read some verses and came to that conclusion, or God told you, because no doubt there are other protestants who say what you do out there who would look at all you believe and would find something to say you were heretical on. Or is it all good as long as one is anti-Roman Catholic? BTW, where are the verses in the NT providing a list of books that are canonical for you to be Sola Scriptura on? Who gave you your Bible? The Roman Catholic Church did, and as believers they affirmed what was canonical in the fourth century AD. The same God who empowered them to affirm what was canonical also empowered them to interpret Sacred Scripture. In conclusion, if I was given a choice of whom to listen to, be it someone who says come listen to my protestant pastor who claims he hears Jesus or listening to someone like Polycarp in the late first century AD saying come listen to my pastor (Apostle John) as he heard from Jesus, I would listen to the latter, as he passed down what he heard to the Early Church Fathers, who handed down, etc, all the wsy to the fourth century, far beyond, and ongoing...

You don't need biblical authority to establish a feast. Hanukkah and Purim were established by the community, though not by divine law. You do need biblical authority to establish a public church (sacred assembly - Leviticus 23:7), and only the High Priest has it. Protestants don't.
