Spotify does not list this EP but there is an album "Early Rituals" (2020) that contains all 4 songs (Track 11 -14).

I remember buying this tape in either 1988-1989 because it was cheap and being surprised on how good it was. Thanks for the upload! Brings back memories.

Just discovered this, I can only assume the one thing that kept these guys from being huge, is the band name. Guessing a lot of record stores in 1987 wouldn't carry an album that said Satan. Too bad too because man this album is amazing! \m/

Not sure it is that simple. They changed their name to blind fury, pariah, did another project Skyclad, but all that didn't bring them the glory they deserve. In fact it made it hard for the fans to keep track. The name Satan and the name of their lead singer Michael Jackson might have caused some confusion as to what to expect. Personally I think they are too complex for the average listener. There is so much going on at the same time and the many tempo changes.

@@erikwillems6466 And incredible band nonetheless! I have since put in a lot more research towards them, at least the small amount that is available out there, cause there is not much. But great way of summing it all up there. Maybe I should listen to this while I work today. \m/

@@lorenmorgan1931 well, at least you have some names to search for now. Most of their albums are on youtube. Suggest to search for "satan - live at Dynamo open air 07/09/1986" First time I saw them live. :)

@bobsmith5690 g yes this is the same "court in the act" and Michael Jackson Satan. Some of them indeed were in Skyclad which was indeed a different beast. Not sure they weren't interested in making it big as frustrations with being unable too is (if I remember correctly) is one of the reasons Michael quit.

This is great band. I'm sure the religious people loved thier name lol. Although I don't think it would've stopped music stores. They was just obscure and under the radar. It's managers and record companies that don't try hard enough to sponsor and get them the publicity to get thier name thrown out there more. Look at Savatage. They was great had talent. But thier name may have hurt them. It's a name without meaning. But they didn't have the management or record company that tried hard enough to get them sold out arenas.
