#3 deff hit me . Especially being around non believers. I try to looka the positive in everyone’s life but I can stop thinking about them being saved . i get the first one bad except its reversed. so many times Ive been tempted to destroy my life foolishly in some extreme act or another because a voice told me that god was calling me to do-it and by sacrificing myself i would be helping other people. this spirit has been powerful enough to even mimic signs from god that are external as well as speak in my ear. but over and over again the holy spirit warned me not to listen. if you are confused by two spirits both claiming to be god no matter how right they sound always listen to the one that loves you intimately and cares deeply for you. Jesus says "my sheep know my voice" and he says "they will not follow a strangers voice but rather run away from him" the voice that is the home your heart yearns for. that is the voice of God.

Hey family- how do you make godly decisions? I’m planning on moving an hour away from home to focus on my relationship with Christ and to focus on myself for a while and get to that quiet place. I’m a college student and will also be working next semester and being home has been a mess. But my mother is moving to another country and wants me to stay to help care for my three siblings. Regarding number 3, there's a thing called the insanity plea in real life. Ant christian who goes around chastising anyone they know has sinned, but it was due to a great trauma, should also re-examine they're motives in said chastisment of the victim.

But also if the victim never examines their own actions, then one could discern they're not Christian anyway. But you can never really know if the victim has considered this, if they do repent, but they may look to be deep in that sin on the outside. On the inside the trauma can be so deep it eats away at them as much as they repent. Just saying, anybody who's been thru real trauma knows how difficult number 3 is to take. To some degree, I think God gets it, just don't stay in that hole, and don't chastise the Christian who is in it. I say that victim can very well point the finger at the abuser, but also ask God's forgiveness and others.

Hey Mark. God has placed a girl on my heart. Three months ago I had a dream about her after a night I was at my highest point with God. I was talking to my friends about God and Jesus and I was just at my highest point. Then that night God placed a dream of her. When I woke up, I felt her in my heart. I feel like God made me fall in love with her or made me think she was the One. I was thinking about her all time because of the dream and this heavy load on my heart. Over the course of three months after this dream I have learned many lessons because God had placed her in my heart. I have grown so much over the period of time and I’m wondering if I should just move on or not. She was good friends with me and I am very good friends with her younger brother who is the same age as me. But she is only a year older than me. I’m wondering if I should go over to her house and hang out to confront this since I’ve been contemplating whether I should move on or not. I cannot seem to get rid of her in my heart. Let me know what you think. Should I move on, or has God placed her on my heart for a specific reason? She is a Christian btw, and goes to church every Sunday, but I think she is lukewarm.

I say pray about it. I also had a girl placed on my heart and over the course of 2-3 months I learned so much about faith, relationships and trusting God. After praying and after all these lessons God revealed to me she is dating someone else. (Which started to happen a month sfter she was placed on my heart which is curious). God will use people to teach you something, but He will also reveal what you should do if you ask Him. Hope this helps. God bless! And in all honesty. Even though she is dating someone else, and I completely understand her, and see nothing wrong with her decision. I still feel her placed on my heart. Trusting God is not easy but it will be rewarded!

I have been praying about it a lot and after realizing my circumstances and what is going on in my mind, this is a test of faith, distinguishing between God's voice, my voice, and the evil one's voice, how to overcome the evil one's bad thoughts, and most importantly how to put God first in everything. I am going to use these three weeks before break to focus only on God, which I have been doing more recently in the past month, but I am waking up every day at 5 am to read the Bible, worship, deepening my relationship with Jesus Christ, and feeling God's presence. Do not push this on her. How would you feel if a girl did the same to you? I've been in a similar situation and thought about confessing my revelation to a guy in a private Facebook message, but that would make the situation worse. I never told him about it and never will get the opportunity to anyway.* Two years ago I felt like God placed a special man on my heart after being introduced to him by one of my dad's friends, but then I never saw him again. On top of that last year he got in a relationship with a girl, that's not me, and they're still together 😔 They've been together for a full year which is enough time to think about being serious and marrying someone. So I let it go and just accepted I didn't hear the voice of God. I thought I heard God said this man was my future husband and became obsessed with trying to figure out if it really was God or not... I never got my answer so I moved on permanently. There were several things God revealed to me after prayer that led me to believe this guy actually could be my future husband, but I've now written those off as coincidences. Sometimes weird things happen in life and they don't actually mean anything. Over spiritualizing things is not healthy. By the grace of God, I don't think about this man that much anymore and am totally okay with marrying someone else. For some reason I just can't get him out of my head, heart, and soul, but I'm working on becoming free. There are times in life where we will be absolutely sure without a shadow of a doubt that it's God, when in reality it never was him. Yeah someone could make the argument that it just isn't time yet, but it's been two years, he's in serious relationship with this woman, and my circumstances don't match up at all with what I "heard". I don't think God would want me to waste my youth worrying about something that's out of my control and waiting on something that he never promised me in the first place. He would want me to move on and trust that he has someone better in store for me. It's easier said than done, but in cases like this it's just better to try to move on permanently because you have no idea. That's not even mentioning free will. We all have free will. If the girl you claimed God put on your heart decides to date a guy for over a year and marry him, then what are you going to do? There's nothing you can do about that and you need to prepare yourself for that exact scenario. "Lean on to God and not your own understanding." God can speak to us in various ways and we choose to ignore it. If you're not in a relationship with the girl and not actively moving towards the path of marriage, I feel like you have your answer right there. As someone who's been dealing with situation for two years, I bet my life on it that's it's only going to get harder from here on out so it's better to spare yourself the emotional pain and move on. Hopefully this is not your situation but this is what happens to the majority of people. There's a lot of people who had a feeling that someone was their future spouse and that individual got happily married to someone else.

@@EL-zr2hb Tbh, I have no idea. I'm still tackling what I'm going through. I guess the best way to go about this, is letting what you know is right or wrong be your guiding principle. I know it's wrong to secretly hope that someone else's man is mine, no matter how miserable they look in photos or how sketchy the relationship looks. After all, social media will never tell the full story. I know it's wrong to sulk over someone who's probably forgotten my existence by now. I know it's right to focus on where I am in life and plan ahead for *my* future. I know it's right to nurture and keep healthy the relationships I already have in my life. I know it's right to wake up everyday and fight this battle. It's hard and I'm tired, but I'm making progress. Fight like your life depends on it. You can do it. You were here breathing and the sun rose every morning before this person came into your life...if it's not meant to be, it'll still be that way long after :) That's what got me through this. Life goes on, just like that person does with their own. So why can't you do the same for yourself? What's the hold up? Life is too short to worry about something you don't know the answer to. And quite frankly, sometimes it's meant to be that way. Sometimes realizing someone isn't meant to be in your life is your closure. It's hard but it opens up the door to many other opportunities and chances. I know what it's like to love someone so much you would give anything just to be in their arms for 30 seconds, but whatever you do, *don't push this on her.* In fact, not pushing this on her would be an act of of love. How would you feel if someone said you were their future spouse without knowing each other for awhile? I wouldn't reveal that until the wedding day or or after. The last thing you want is for her to feel pressure. Let things happen how they're meant to be and maybe you'll get your true answer. This situation is complicated, but I can only tell what I know.

BUT my question is, would God ever send you someone who wasn’t saved,& you stayed friends,but then later on in life he comes to know Jesus & then you date? Yup definitely possible but ofcourse u have to be sure that God really is leading u to keep this person as a friend and that ur intentions are pure.Because often I have seen situations where Christians befriend someone that they actually like in hopes that the person becomes saved and on the flip side the person may like them as well and so they pretend to have come to know the Lord in order to get in relationship with them, so again its all about our true intentions...definitely have to be very careful and prayerful in such situations.

I'm sure that has happened to someone but that does not mean it will happen to most people. I believe it always best to live with the facts we have now rather than what we hope to have one day, because we then almost always just wait for something that does not happen. So I would assume the situation you described is not what will happen, but of course it is possible. It's just highly unlikely and you will more likely get hurt waiting for that to happen

Baptism doesn't save, it's a sign you are saved. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus. Ephesians and Romans would be good books to read. I encourage you to talk with a local pastor to get discipled.

@@ApplyGodsWordcomMarkBallenger I know that baptism doesn't save, it's recieving the Holy Spirit, but interms of someone being able to call you a Christian after baptism without you being saved yet. I have friends and family who are saved, who said you can be called a Christian after being saved, but it's basically not complete yet without being saved, but you can still be called a Christian.
