WHAT IS TALK HEATHEN?
Talk Heathen is a weekly call-in television show in Austin, Texas geared toward long-form and on-going dialogue with theists & atheists about religion, theism, & secularism. Talk Heathen is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin.
Talk Heathen is filmed in front of a live studio audience every week at the Freethought Library of the Atheist Community of Austin.
The Atheist Community of Austin is organized as a nonprofit educational corporation to develop & support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing & friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of government-religion separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists & to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.
We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. This definition also encompasses what most people call agnosticism.

Modern Satanism is frequently a post Christian identity, so qualification one is met. Satan as a literary figure is an enchanting character, that's two. Making peace with the possibility of a negative afterlife is something everyone does. I'm betting homie doesn't give a third thought to other religion's methods of avoiding their negative outcomes.

And to paraphrase Jim Jeffries if you’ve gone to hell because you’re on Satans side why would he torture you, you’d be his friend…so the whole negative afterlife thing is up in the air Plus I’d rather be hanging with the immortal being that cares about freedom not the one that likes slavery and demands obedience Of course that is assuming they even exist, otherwise who cares? Secular does not mean: satanist, atheist, communist, or predator. Secular simply means respecting other religions within society. No specific religious views, including atheism, can be taught in schools or endorsed by government. “A wall of separation between church and state.”

Atheism is not a religious view, it is a lack of religious views. More specifically, it is the absence of belief in the existence of deities. They are not the same thing.

The founder of modern Satanism, Anton LaVey, saw Satan as a metaphor for the real nature of mankind and as a convenient figurehead for his own brand of enlightened hedonism. He was trying to create a religion with the ritual and ceremony of Christianity but with none of the guilt or the supernatural baggage or the requirement for his altar women to wear any clothes.

I don't see any fallacy you claim. There are Satanist who do worship the Christian demon. Than there's that group that has taken the label "Satanism" as a political movement, basically a satir, to push back against fundamentalist Christians trying to secularise schools, state institutions, & the government itself. Maybe it's a bad idea because Christians can't understand satir & always takes things literally, seen these Christians go into hysterics when they encounter such activists.

I've met people that worship Satan and claim he is the real God - creator of everything. They spent more time praying to Satan and exercising rituals then all of the Christians I've ever met.
