We all know that the intent of Laura Loony wasn't merely to say that curry smells. Most people are not that daft, but Matt Walsh is obviously hopeful that some of us are. Just look at her history and you can read her intent. It was a racist attack meant to offend, straight from a culture with a history of judging the customs of "less civilized" people whom it was in the interests of the colonizers to dehumanize. Making fun of smelling like curry is an old, well-worn racist trope. She would have said much worse if social media didn't have rules around overtly racist language. Been in the Atlanta area most of my life, school districts are not racist in Atlanta. They are separated by income levels. Yes, more people who are black go to public schools in Fulton/DeKalb counties, but everyone who can afford it regardless of race tries to put their kids in better schools than public schools. Also, the Black/African American population in Atlanta is higher than any other racial/ethnic group. Racism has nothing to do with the schools inequality here in 2024. Money does.

To this day the US still gotta be involved meddling in their governmental affairs. These are different countries with different histories. When was the last US backed coup against a democratically elected leader in the Domican Republic?
