I used to be in an unhappy relationship with my ex constantly lying to me (about the little and the big stuff), ignoring me, not including me in his life or his plans in any real way, humiliating me in public, gaslighting and always playing the victim card, and begging and pleading whenever I brought up the subject of us breaking up, that he'll do better. He never did better. We all have flaws but he'd barely even work up the nerve to make small talk with me whenever we went out. I ended up cheating on him. Told him right away the next day. Said he forgave me but 4 months later he must have had some resentment towards me built up in him cos he attacked me verbally out of the blue and ghosted me. Thought I'd be happy that we're finally breaking up but now I kinda miss him. The thing is that relationships are hard, humans suck and we're all doomed to die and go to hell so who even cares about anything anymore. Ya'll are calling this dude a jackass or smth but he's honest. The Aiden types get cheated on and the Carrie types end up alone, not with Big cos the Big type (the guy I cheated with) won't tell his wife and the wife will play dumb and they WON'T break up and that's the reality of it
