Miranda was always not fully committed to Steve: class issues at the beginning; neurotic need to be with men who were volatile and judgemental (look at her reaction to Skipper); laser focused on her own priorities. During counseling in the 1st movie, Steve said: "How do I know if you won't just dump me again?" Well, she did.

This is a credit to what great actors they all are. They rolled for over 3 minutes without calling cut. They must add lib a lot because their conversation appears so natural. I seriously doubt that they all memorized the script perfectly. Anyway, I LOVE the new show, it made perfect sense to me why so much of the SATC characters were different, because people change over the course of 20 years and especially from their 30’s to their 50’s. That’s why Miranda is so different. The show was very well done and those who didn’t think so just didn’t understand what their vision is.

This scene still hasnt aired yet.(S2E08 just did if you're reading this comment in the distant future). But storywise to where we are now, this doesnt feel too far away...maybe within the next 1-2 episodes. Seems Steve will be starting a new business near Coney Island. On Aiden's phone you can hear his son Wyatt, whom Carrie (and us viewers) for sure will meet next week when she goes to Virginia to meet Aiden's kids.

Some spouses cheat or just do wrong and they choose to end a marriage for selfish reasons. There’s a lot of divorces in other countries too and some people are miserable in their marriage and never try to make things better but still stay in an unhappy marriage.

I hate it when a gay actor such as Nixon takes it opon herself to fly the LGBTQ flag on a tv series that she made her name on, playing a straight career woman. She does a complete 180 flip , and goes from being her long, on-screen STRAIGHT character, to being gay, AT HER AGE, after having a kid with long-term husband, and DOORMAT, Steve. Never cared much for her character anyway, and really don't like her politics off screen. I remember her saying she thought it was ok for people to loot and steal if they were poor and hungry. Well Nixon, from what I saw most of them were loading up their CARS with stolen clothes, trainers and mobile phones. Anything to say to those SHOP OWNERS??? They destroyed the integrity of SATC when they played the 'diversity', 'inclusivity' woke card bs. Most level-headed, normal people DETEST it and switch off. Wake up Hollywood, you are dying a quick death, and you deserve it. RIP.

Samantha put SEX in the City. She was funny, beautiful, opinionated and WATCHABLE. I liked the Carrie and Big drama, but they killed SATC when they killed off Big. They should have left AIden in the past, with his wife and kids. They should have come up with a new love interest. They messed with the characters so much, its lost its appeal and believability now. No integrity of the characters, and they just played out Woke storyline to appease the libtards, and threw money at SJP and the others to do it. WAS a fan.

In real life the three other actresses turned against Kim Cattrall because she asked for more money, (and quite rightly too). She should have got a better pay deal. She was more than equal to SJPs character and Yes, people watched it at first more for the Big/Carrie storyline. It had continued success and a huge following because Kim did most of the sex scenes (with gusto), and that brought in many fans too. I don't believe most cared about Miranda or Charlotte. Kim had the good sense to NOT continue when SATC threw integrity of the characters out of the window for a huge payout, just to continue with ridiculous scripts and a WOKE/Diversity/LGBTQ etc, YAWN) tag thrown into the sorry mix. They treated Kim badly, but it seems to me there was jealously towards her, and SJP knew the great success of SATC was 50% (at least) down to Kim's character, Samantha.
