@@censorit2756 when you’re doing a team coordinated thing like a push onto a site you might want to simple flash to avoid flashing your teammates on accident and you throw it through holes so its less visible therefore less prone to being shot out. fast flashing is typically used on your own to get frags.

I played a ton of Valorant during the Beta, but after that really stopped. I just started playing again recently and unlocked Skye because I love her animals and character. I was kinda surprised that nobody was playing her since she seemed so cool, but I now see how I've been playing her wrong. Great video!

Yo, i'm primarily struggling with Icebox on skye. I have some great positions and flashes on A site defense, but A attack and B defense/attack is a struggle. So a guide for icebox would be dope! Also, i know her ult is pretty simple but i have noticed especially useful situations and positions to use it in, a guide with examples on ult usage would be great too :) Kudos to bringing skye content back, getting a lot of compliments from maining her and she's just super fun to play, underrated as hell.

I've been watching you for some time now and I can't explain how much I appreciate you sharing all this info. Makes playing Skye so much easier and fun Also please definitely add other maps, especially Ice box and Split. I really struggle to utilitize Skye's flashes properly because of all the turns and in case of Split, the lack of open space. I usually just pick Breach or Sage instead.

weird-working flash; on icebox (mostly) fast flash upwards on tubes when knowing where enemies are. Also try using flashes offbounds on retakes or when taking info at the start of a round

I think a cool trick is to bait with flashes if they are shooting it you can swing that angle while it’s elevated so the enemies crosshair placement gets messed up

My issue is the unreliability of her flashes. Last night I was defending garage on haven. I knew one was window, i threw a fast flash, perfectly, got the noise and everything. Swung to kill and she was literally zero percent blind. Anything I can do to help with that?

I agree there is an issue where I will throw a perfect flash and the enemy will not be blind but the sound will go off. It's a weird one and I'm not sure if it's a glitch or not. Flashing a second time before peeking seems to solve that issue for me

I actually have a problem with skye's flashes: the enemy seems to always be able to dodge them (look away or move back in a corner and then quickly repick me). When i pick them after having them blinded, they always seems blinded for just a split second (the white light in their eyes is already fading) or they are not blinded at all which is strange. Of course when i do the pop-flash things are easier, but there are lots of angles where simply you cant do them (think of attacking A site in Ascent: if they are holding generator or heaven, they are too far away and they get blinded for too little, and if you maybe want to also blind tree, they have all the time dodge it). TL;DR: my flashes gets always dodged and they constantly punish me for playing aggressive.

Here's something that works for me. You know that after the flash fades they will be expecting a push that's when you send in a second flash that they will be directly staring into which usually is a free kill for me. Look through my videos and you will see I usually don't only do one flash but actually flash twice back to back

I'm not saying that it doesn't work, because it does, but especially when i do the double flash, I am confident enough that everyone i will pick is blinded. The problem is that more times than not, they are not blinded even after the double flash. Now that you made me think about that, maybe my problem is that i re-flash too fast, so they don't get fully blinded by the second flash (but that's just an hypotesis). If only there was a Replay system, it would be so much helpful for understanding our mistakes. Btw I found you yesterday, so i'm a new subscriber. I tend to avoid skye in solo queue, but what you do works really well playing with friends; I pop the quick flash and have a friend pick one off with an OP or spray down if they're rushing. I'm not the best at aiming either so :/
