There is usually a ring on the inside for practice and training or whatever, there are usually a couple gated paddocks for turning out your horse while you muck (clean) the stable or just so they can enjoy the fresh air. Also there are areas to hose them down. There’s a lot more that goes into it but it would take forever.

When you have power you can set your oven and refrigerator to not use electricity - other wise they will use it. I'm not sure if you have to have "off the grid" turned on for the option to show up, but I do know there has to be power that is on for it to show up on right click.

The off-the-grid wasn't working because there wasn't enough power being created so it shows a red number. If you add a few more solar panels and wind turbines so that you are creating more power than you are using, it will work.

I think the Off-The-Grid Power doesn’t work because you use more then you can produce. It was still in negative so you couldn’t store it and so it won't work. The water was in positive, you where producing/collecting more then you used. That is probably the problem. It would help to replace some electronics with the ones that work Off-The-Grid like Lamps, Fridge and Stove. As far as i know the game will recognize that they won't need that much power so you could produce more then you use and it will store. At least it is like that for me when I play Off-The-Grid, which I do every time xd

I think there is a glitch where sims look burnt because it’s happening to me every time I play. It happens to my furniture too and there’s never any fires on my lots so I don’t get why it happens! I just go into CAS and it seems to reset the sims.
