Great video thank you! My field of expertise were the transmission telephony networks. In the early 80's I was involved with analogue wideband data before the up and down links at the Hartebeeshoek Earth Satellite station South Africa. (C-band Intelsat). The Hartebeeshoek ground station comprised two divisions viz. Telephony and Hartrao. Hartrao, formerly known as DSS-51, was built by NASA in the 1960's for their telemetry and voice communications for their moon landers. DSS-51 was one of over 14 ground stations in strategic parts of the world including ships at sea and aircraft to maintain line-of-sight to the moon landers as the earth rotated. Collectively known as the Spaceflight Data and Tracking/Telemetry Network. Great memories indeed.
