"Gymnopédies 3" ohhhh my. How all of you playing are not in tears while you play......... I couldn't imagine being in the center of all that and keeping it together. So emotional, lush and soul haunting. It's joy and pain all at once. THANK YOU!

The playing by the 1st Oboist is superb and truly melodic. Bravo to this remarkable musician. I applaud this Orchestra for their expert interpretations of not just Satie but also Schubert 3, 6 and Dvorak 9. Thank you

Just beautiful. The orchestra is wonderful. Bravo 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 The first violin is great. The blonde lady on the flute is awesome, and the harps are beautiful. French horns and piccolo are outstanding!

Adore number 3. It has a sadness, especially the full orchestration, with the slinkiness of the violins, the beauty of the harp, and French horn, and stark lament of the trumpets

Debussy orchestrated these in the early 1910s, in a team effort between him and other prominent musicians of the time, to raise awareness towards Erik Satie, who finally began to gain recognition, after a two decade career. 👏🏼 All his works were ahead of their time, by decades -- even late works such as the Parade suite.

Many orchestras have recorded these on vinyl records for decades. I'm an active oboist still, since 1965 when I was 10. Father was a concert pianist so first I was a page turner for dad since I was 8. He was Paul Hindemith's assistant as a student at Yale. Our piano was. Steinway Concert D 9'. I had a very musical upbringing, with first gig in the USAF Academy Band. Now principal oboe in Paradise Symphony Orchestra.

My good friends in Frankfurt.... you are back again, and grace us with yet another wonderful performance - so vital for life in these isolated and anxious times. Please let me say.... where did you find your 1st Oboe player? he is fantastic.... he does not so much as play as sing beautifully with his oboe.... he makes the most adorable sound imaginable. This audio recording surpasses the excellence of your previous recordings. So brilliant an orchestra, and conductor... I cannot wait for the world to change and Lufthansa will take me to your City so I can see and hear of you for myself...

Vielleicht ist die Nummerierung im Titel chronologisch vorgenommen worden... Unabhängig davon, was zuerst gespielt wurde.
