I choose to note both the absurdity of endless mask wearing and the fact that how you present yourself in music has a real effect. Respect my choice.

@@chrisn8657 But presentation does matter. The soloist up front in a symphony orchestra has no music stand, while everybody else does. Nothing between him/her and the audience. Masks in 2023 are off-putting. You are free to disagree.

In Japan it is good manners to wear a mask if you have a cold. They are a very polite and considerate people.
