Thanks to your videos, I got the idea to create a ring of power towers all around the edge of the map. And with several reaching toward the center. And I aligned all of mine so that there are no obstructions, and no harsh angles that interrupt travel. Everything is connected to them now. I basically took what you have done, and did it better, and more efficient. It even looks cool, as in some places I had to carve out corridors through trees. Thank you for the inspiration.

There are probably lots of people that actually won't watch it, I'd guess anyways. But I like it. It's like a major point of the game. Watching a stream on this game, I expect some exploring, some factory making, some hm, huhs about how to do things, squirrel-ing to sort the brain stack, etc. But without the factory making, you get nowhere in the end.

The one thing you might want to consider is building your belts with the highest throughput you plan to use in mind. e.g.: The belts for the iron, you now have them split based on the 270/min you can process, however you plan to go much higher (mk.4/mk.5?) -> have the refinery outputs linked together based on that. This means you will have either 480pm/65pm = 7 refineries (rest a little througput but that's for later to add a balancer merger) OR you might have 780pm/65pm = 12 refineries linked togehter. You will not satisfy the belts right now but they are 'future proof'

if you "configure" a pump after you place it, it will tell you how much headlift it is using. Also, when you are pumping up, there is an additional overlay showing the top of the level the water is currently being pumped up to so you know to place the next pump right below that.

Last night I created a double row of gift trees that fully saturate a mk5 belt with newly created gifts. I don't recall how many trees it took but it's probably close to 60 trees.

Honestly the only thing I use blueprints for is for merging and separating systems focusing on ultra compact or complicated odd to even number mergers and separators also I use them for long haul projects like an elevated rail system i.e. straight sections, posts, turns. So basically for anything overly repetitive, complicated or compact versions

I think the blueprint stuff is probably best used at this level for the simple stuff, and then wait for the bigger maker for the bigger stuff. Dunno.

The primary value of the batteries in the game is not "my power died", it is to create a buffer when you are dealing with surge loads that might otherwise push the power consumption above the system limits to prevent popping breakers. They are not so much batteries as they are capacitors. It would be different if we where using renewable energy, but that is not how the game devs want things to run.

Freezers tripping GFCI has been a problem since they first mandated GFCI in garage outlets. it has been YEARS (2008) since I studied for certification, so the memory is a might hazy, but IIRC it had to do with the sudden load when the compressor kicks in fooling the GFCI, and there is NOTHING that can be done other than code violation by removing the GFCI (as of that point). Talk to yuour local electrician to see if anything has changed since, but I doubt it.

For the doggos pen make sure the floor foundation fully goes into the ground otherwise they glitch out like that. Also if you want to better see the doggos you can use a 3 high railing (unlocked in the shop) instead of walls. For the transition from vertically stacked belts to horizontal what I meant is to have stacked splitters in front of the belts right below the point where they last go up, so in your case right below the cascading lifts from above, then have the lifts coming out the sides of the splitter like ears. One splitter one lift (for more than 2 belts you just fan them out first)

My foundation was like that, and they still fell through. So I deleted the foundation that was under them. They were still completely surrounded by foundations, and full size walls. Problem though; they also fall through the world mesh. I now have 7 lizard doggos stuck under the world, completely inaccessible, forever. My savegame data(pasted to Interactive Map) still shows they are in that location. I gave up on Lizard Doggos. They aren't even a feature of the game, because they do not function correctly. And I destroy them whenever I see them now, because they make me sad/angry.

@@danielduncan6806 I haven't had them fall through the world yet fortunately, anyway you can use the save editor to update their position, in your case it should be only the Z value to bring them back to the surface. Anyway yeah it's frustrating when these things happen and speaking of falling into the world I managed to get "behind" stuff multiple times, in caves there are places where you can easily go like normal but then you are actually behind the rocks

tango i feel like we have the same house :P upgrade the circuit to 20amp. to do it right you should just need to up the breaker to 20 and the gfci or a gfci breaker, and then the outlets on that line should also be 20 amp rated. the wires presumably rated fine but it will say. its probably GFCI just because its a garage. i would keep that protection if i was you. to do it wrong just replace the gfci with a standard outlet slightly better than wrong is just upgrade the gcfi to 20 amp.

I like GFCI breakers and the good 20amp outlets are actually pretty satisfying to plug things into as they will be a low tolerance fit. - which is actually nice when its something like a vacuum it won't come unplugged as easily.

controversial comment: this is not a "good" game. it's a fun game, but not a "good" game. (decent maybe) before you argue: why have round foundations, but nothing that can go ontop of them? or the blueprint way. why have zoop build and zoop delete, but not zoop blueprint? or so many missing shapes or practically no settings (like stack size, zoop distance, item counts, inventory slots, rates etc.) etc... seeing that some mods are used by half of the playerbase... i think they should tone down the fancy deco stuff and start fixing up some things of the most used mods...

Since you get back everything when you deconstruct, there is only ONE reason why you would ever restart this game. And that is, if you've cut down a forest of trees that you regret cutting down. Otherwise, you can merely destroy everything you've made and it will be as though you've restarted the game.

Most newer refrigerators are not compatible with GFCI protected circuits. The refrigerator in your kitchen is plugged into its own dedicated 20amp circuit. Most refrigerators peak at about 9amps. The water heater in the garage is most likely gas and just needs power for the controls. Easy solution would be to add an outlet in your garage right under the panel.

Tango streams on twitch, not youtube so you won't get notified on here for his livestreams. He streams every Monday, Wednesday and Friday on hermitcraft, I'm not sure what time. Satisfactory is streamed whenever he wants, typically on weekends. Tango is usually pretty on top of posting vods the day of or one day after the stream but I think he's busy preparing hungry hermits and doing the life series.
