In my opinion, twitch chat is very insistent on blueprints when they are not necessary or a waste of time. Like the blueprints from water pipes, you could have had the whole thing built in the time it took to set up the blueprint. I think twitch chat just likes to waste time.

You could hide away your pipe spaghetti and just make a “pump house” building where the pipes go in from the extractors and out in a clean 3x3 grid.

the weirdness you are getting in your movement feels more like CPU or RAM limitation open task manager performance screen on another monitor while you are playing and see what's being maxed

49:32 I did try to play it on a controller (on a steam deck). Not possible, the game requires way more buttons than a controller physically has, not to mention precise mouse movement

the game is on steam, you can use steam input and have multiple layers on your controller, so practically doubling your button count, well theoretically infinite buttons because there isn't a limit on how many layers you can have

I'm sure chat wants blueprints for the same reasons I would: consistent designing, and more importantly reduced opportunity for errors. On that topic, I'll reiterate a comment from an earlier video that suggested drafting tiled blueprints to be rotationally symmetric, which cuts orientational errors. You did end up with that, but it wasn't deliberate and was almost missed. Side note, I have no idea how my tone reads here. I like what you do and you don't have to listen to me. Play the game how you like and never give in to producing inhalers.

I think to help your water pipes look pleasing you could send them all towards the rock faces on the sides of the waterfall and them send them into the side of the base. Itll look tidy and pretty cool having a wayer bus line

5000 series vid cards, due out in late January... expected actual release in mid to late march release info is still conflicting, but if you are a big tech reviewer you can get one now. :) I would absolutely get a last gen or soon to be released x3d series AMD CPU in the $500-750 price range along with a 5000 series intel vid card in the sell a kidney price range, but the calculated power requirements for that are 750 actual used, BUT get a 1000w to keep the consumption in the efficiency sweet spot of the PSU... My own personal computer rebuild goal for 2025 is AMD Ryzen 7 9800x3d, ASUS ROG Strix or ASRock mobo, 64-128gig of ram, 3: 4TB SSDs in raid 5, and a 1300w PSU as nothing in my existing desktop except the case is viable for upgrades anymore. I will keep my case because it is an amazing (though bulky) case. for a GPU, I plan on spending as much on the 5090 as the entire remainder of the computer, but this years upgrade should last me through 2030 or so before it is getting old enough it can not keep up with the games I play, but I am looking at $2600-2800 for the GPU (officially they are expected to come out at $2400-2600, but I fully believe crypto miners and such will push the price as high as $4000... I will not pay above $2800)
