Whats bad by videos usch as this one, it assumes you have mk3 belts and other far into the game items. Those who are so far in the game generally dont need the idea/help for the start with ore and such.

That's not really accurate. This method works with Mk1 belts and miners, you'll just use 1 smelter and 2 constructors instead of 16 smelters and 32 constructors. Late game still needs raw resources, and I was pretty late in my first playthrough before I realized all my mines suck and there has to be a better way than strip mining the whole map

Not particularly, but if you aren't into resource management it can get complicated near the end. It's never a particularly hard game

Your belt work needs work sir. The load isn't what I would call balanced in your design. The further down the line the assemblers are, the lower the resource count becomes.

I didn't use assemblers in this video, and if anything's further down it'll just take marginally more time to flood the line

But what if you want a smooth power consumption line to go along with the smooth power production line (until particle accelerators ruin it)? You don't want a bunch of fully overclocked mk. 3 miners turning on and off ruining the smooth consumption.
