@@tahminaislam1120 Hmmm. You can learn while doing. If you sit around trying to replicate realism instead of honing in skills for what you want (semi realism) you end up getting distracted and scared to attempt it. Practice capturing realism within the style you want to accomplish.

Yeah, practising realism will definitely be of help but if you are like me and hate drawing realism and get easily exhausted if you try to draw realism try doing photo studies and reference real life people. Like try not to put too much emphasis on making it look realistic but capturing its essence. Like the big shapes and stuff. Eventually as you study a lot more photos and get used to drawing from real life you'll come to a point where you can draw semi-realism without knowing how to draw realism. I've been in this problem so I just wanted to say how I overcame it but take this with a grain of salt since I am not really a professional or anything lol 😅

This was the coolest way I have ever seen anyone use colored pencils! I mean it makes sense, Prismacolors are soft and buttery like oil pastels so why not use them the same way? I am totally going to try this now (and fail miserably I'm sure, but we live and we learn) Thanks for teaching this old dog a new trick!!! Stunning drawing. Beautiful, I absolutely love it!

This vid makes me remember my entire childhood. I spended hours filling every empty page with draws and color pencils. Every day I drawed and that becames so simple like my own breath. Today I do not spend so munch time drawing in real paper. I'm a 2D animator and this video just make me remember those peaciful days of art. :3

I have prismas. They’re quite good if you’re learning! I’m still learning and no where near his level at coloring but you just gotta learn the sharpness, blending and all of that first before attempting to make a drawing with them bc they’re quite different from other pencils.

You can start with normal (more cheap) color pencils, then get the prisma ones

I really like prismacolor pencils. but they are so creamy that they wear out very quickly. Even so, they are worth it, with them you can do incredible things.

​@@rinbruno1018 typically yes, if you draw since childhood just because you like it you'll probably be better than those around you (but not by all that much),, it doesn't matter when you start but the amount of effort you put into learning form, colour theory, anatomy etc. if you do it for fun, sure, you'll pick up some basic knowledge after a couple years and if that makes you happy go for it. but if someone starts art later in life but gets right into the basic exercises they'll be leagues ahead of the person who've been doing it since childhood after a couple of months. not to say that ones better than the other,, they've just had different journeys at different rates. hope this clears some things up ^^

Prismacolor is an amazing tool, but they're super soft so I use them with a stronger pencil to add fine details
