Oh. My. Goodness. Golly. Gosh. THIS IS DSO FFRIGIGJN GOOD WTF?!?!?!!! Just in the first 2 milliseconds in the video, I immediately smelled underrated work. How in shizzles name does this only have 29k? IF SOMEONE SHOWED ME THIS I WOULDA GUESSED IT'D BE LIKE SEVERAL MILLION- Gosh where do I even get started on all the things I love about this GCMV? The designs? The backgrounds? The style of tweening and animation in the characters that usually would look choppy or not good in my opinion, but somehow when you did it you gave it charm and pulled it off and made it look amazing! The smooth animation at the very beginning with the splashing and swooshing of the wine was so flawlessly done. I can't get over the perspective and perfect walking animation (also at the very beginning). Pretty much every animation shot in this is gorgeous with each and every one being different and unique from one another and always being a wonderful surprise. I'm usually pretty picky with watching GCMVS and can easily click off if I don't enjoy it, but this kept me hooked throughout the whole thing! Excellent work!!!1!111!! :^D *+1 sub*

I’m using the context from the musical so this won’t line up with the GCMV entirely, the song is a flashback to the song before it (helpless) basically the sister to the wife of the MC wanted to be with him back when they first met (which is in 1780 at a ball) there’s also A TON of foreshadowing in this song, saying how he’ll never be satisfied with his marriage, in the second act he cheats on his wife and his political career goes 📉📉 so… some lyrics got changed in the gcmv because this doesn’t take place during the American revolution and the ocs aren’t historical figures 🤷‍♀️
