I'll never forget back in 2019, there was an auction for a complete English set of Nodame Cantible. Being a new manga reader, it was on my radar, but it got to $80ish dollars and I was like naw. Sold for close to $90 and it's the biggest regret I have to this day.

Red River is a classic, but I don't think you really see what makes it special until maybe volume 6 or so. That is to say, the beginning couple volumes aren't a great indicator of what it ends up being.
