The instrument is a type of scalpel; yes it can hurt - and yes it leaves a cut. Some of these technicians are very careful not to cut often or too wide to minimize scarring. I’ve seen some that are not very careful at all.

The blade is very small and sharp. Meaning it may hurt a little but the pimples probably hurt more, and the sharpness make a tiny clean cut that heals quickly and rarely leaves a scar.

Yes, but what really hurts is after the treatment is over and she wipes the entire face with rubbing alcohol. It's like after-shave lotion in an open wound. It'll get your attention and not in a good way.

There is a step, after the extraction, where they use a glass tube and water, to clean and vacuum out the bits. Someone, ages ago, started a rumor and now all of the ignorant followers are forever leaving the comment, "Empty the pore!". For God's sake, do some research and stop harassing these poor women! I swear, there are too many sheep watching these videos. Just saying.

This video was okay, but I really wish that you'd empty the pores out better. If you don't empty them completely, then they'll just fill up really fast again, but if you empty them completely they might not come back, and if they do, it'll take a lot longer. So it's important to empty them completely, especially if you poke them with your blade.

I'm sorry but I must say something here . Your one handed "squeezing" technique is ineffective and more of a "pinch"which is why your patient is grunting!? Not to mention your not removing ALL the content!! You cannot use "one hand" to effectively do a well done treatment! This poor guy is going to have all those missed and improperly cleaned pores regrow Quickly. I hope he didn't pay for this service.
