I hear these stories so I know what’s going on in the world and so I know what to do if it ever happens to me. (Sexual assault) As a girl, I am so scared. I hate thinking that could be me. Now knowing these things, I get nervous if my shorts are just a little to short, or if it is a little to windy while I am wearing a dress. I’m not the only one who is scared. That’s the sad part I’m sorry i forgot to mention this but it’s not just girls it happening to, it’s happening to men, as well. For the next generation we have to teach people and even our own kids what right and wrong.

I find it horrible that anyone can be sexually assaulted, but I look at it from a girls view (cuz I am a girl) as well as the risk of becoming pregnant, especially because my sibling hates things like the thought of abortive, (which I get if someone is fooling around, but if it wasn’t their fault 😞) so I’m just looking at it from a girls view, but yes I do know men can be sexually assaulted as well, the consequences are just different though all of them are horrible. (Sorry if this doesn’t make sense I am writing this right when I woke up 😅)

I feel for Claire. I was touched inappropriately by one of my guy friends when I was in middle school. It was continuous thing that happened over the course of 2 years and when I finally opened up about it, I was gas lit into thinking it wasn't that big of a deal by his little sister (my best friend), who later on tried to gas light me into thinking it never happened at all. Claire, your friends showed their true colors right then and there. You deserve so much better and I'm sorry you had to go through what you did. No one ever deserves to go through that. Yes, these story's are fun to listen too, but let's not make a big deal out of it. It's sad that happened to them, and it shouldn't have. Just no dear god I will never get where you coming from No is no such thing as been through much worse sexual assault ,abuse ,harassment is not spoken enough but as a person who has experience this and have seen my close member to me who is my mother Who was sexually abused and sexually assaulted multiple times because she was born a female in her hometown she was sexually and physically hurt by family members who she was supposed to trust and when she actually started to see what was being done to her was wrong she begged and pleaded that all these unspeakable crimes and things done to her were true. She was beaten by her mother and accused of lying for attention. Years later her siblings who witnessed what was going on and knew these things were true of what happened to my mother they apologized and finally convinced my grandmother that these things were done to her my mother now has found closure and that sense of closure can help you heal and see yourself as a survivor not a victim. So I can’t change your opinion but this is such a close minded statement that a lot of people who have experienced this won’t stand by.
