Love the look of the late teens and early 1920s of the 7hp engine

have wanted one of these since first seeing one at a fair as s kid. Id be fine with a smaller version just to play with, so cool. Old with ultimate idle efficacy

I imagine these hit and miss engines are fairly efficient since they don’t use all that much fuel. Btw, do you still collect vintage fans and small appliances? Just wondering since I’ve been a longtime viewer since about 2010 or so.

At shows they will run long durations on very little fuel however under load they will fire more often and burn more fuel. I slowed down on some of the other hobbies sometimes I pick up an old fan or motor but I don't go actively looking anymore

@@1944johndeerel I’ve been slowing down myself a little over the past year or so. Not that I’ve lost interest, just been busy with life along with thinning out some of my collection of various appliances. Picked up a rare (quite rare) 1963 RCA Whirlpool Imperial Mark XII washer dryer set in turquoise back in 2020, been gradually fixing things here and there on it but has been out of service due to timer issues. Someone has a timer for it somewhere on a site I am on, just has to be found. That’s one thing for sure I am never going to get rid of due to it’s rarity. Have a few vintage fans as well, but mainly use them for their intended purpose since I don’t feel like having them collect dust on the shelf.
