My grandmother made the best food on her woodburning stove until the day she passed. She had barn cats, but she always allowed her favorite inside. That cat could always be found sleeping near that stove😊. My best friend heats his house and does all his cooking on his stove. He has the fan on top just like yours. His house was built in the 1700's and it's like walking back in time when you go in. He has a large fireplace with a swing arm to swing the pot over the fire in his dining area. The old things are where my heart lies. I just love your little stove.

I love the green chilies in melted Velveeta cheese and finely diced onion = Chili con caso dip for tortilla chips. I learned that when I lived in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Take the turkey cut up well in small.pieces and add cut up small onions and if you choose small diced celery with great mayonnaise,the store brand is okay.mix well with lots of mayo as nd chill for. Couple hrs.wow.i now add canned cranberries to the top of turkey mix as I build the sandwich up with lots of turkey mix and enjoy.we make up up here in Country.Rosie

Good Morning from SE Oh. Cream turkey, w gravy over mashed taters, home made biscuits, turkey taco. Applewood smoke is good too w pork. Couldn't sleep so I thought I'd boil eggs for deviled eggs for our family's dinner tomorrow. Then I have pumpkin pies to make. My great grandson who will be 3 in Jan loves lemonade, making him a lemon pound cake. By the grace of God he is healthy other than allergies. He was born 3.5 months early. So enjoy all the vids from the Morrows. Prayers of healing for G.

Hi PawPaw 👋 Very nice gifts n goodies. I love your small wood stove. There's nothing like it. We had a huge full size wood stove when we lived off a dirt road in the country. The stove had a heating shelf above the stove top. Anything made in it or on it was soo good. The house smelled amazing. There was no toaster. We made the toast right on the stove. It was delicious. We had a blue enamel coffee pot (like u have!) What a smell! I miss that stove to this day. I used to love red twizzlers when I was little. Then i read the label n haven't touched it in about 30 yrs. It has the worst form of sugar which is corn syrup!! (Ask your Dr. ) no human should eat it. I can't believe the devastation those wild boars can cause. It's shocking to see! I hope between you n Jake, it'll b the end of their destruction!! The wind made it hard to hear you at times. A noise canceler would help. Your grass is just beautiful. Praise G d. We had snow this morning. It was in the 20's. Praise G d Gi is on the mend. Thx 💙 for sharin PawPaw. You are truly blessed with your wonderful family. 💖 And we are blessed 🙌 to have you in our lives. Pawpaw, I may have told you before, but my grandmother cooked on a wood stove all the time until I guess something on it wore out, and she had to get a new stove. Her new stove was half wood stove and half electric. Never even knew they made such a thing. Does anyone else remember ever seeing one? Grandma lived to be 90, and I’ll be 80 my next birthday. Can’t believe I’m that old.

Good Morning Paw Paw! I have a wood-burning stove in my basement. I have had it for 30 years now. It’s great on those cold wintery nights. It will heat the whole house. We only burn Birch wood in it. It burns down to a fine ash. We like putting it around the garden. When it burns down to coals…it’s nice & toasty in here. There is a fan attached to it…as soon as it reaches a certain temperature…the fan kicks in & blows that awesome warm air throughout the house. I love it! Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊 I always enjoy the “gift & goodies” segments. Such wonderful kind subscribers. It’s -2.2F this morning (that’s -19C) & snowing again. Already 2 shovels since 4:30 am…hopefully, it’s supposed to stop snowing at 8:00 am. We are a “hearty bunch”…👍❄️👏😊🇨🇦

It's in the 30's here in Northern VA. My grandmother had what was called a bread bowl she made her biscuit dough in. I used to stay with her during the Summer. She pretty much taught me to cook. Making biscuits she'd instruct me fill the bowl with flour up to that crack in the bowl.. etc.. etc.. She never measured anything. Everything done by eyeing it.

Beautiful cool day out at Camp Heidi's. To cold for Wood dog, 😅. You have got enough wood chips to smoke something every week of the year. We would get wood chips off the apple tree and cherry tree growing wild down the road. We bought hickory chips and other chips to. We had a pretty neat smoker that we used. My Greatgrandmother only had a wood stove all her life. The old floor had knot holes in it & we would lay on the floor watching the chickens under the house. At night we only had a slop jar for ths Bathroom. I loved going to her house that never had a coat of paint. Best food ever. Loved the umbrella, but always heard it's bad luck to open one in the house, so hope that isnt true. Have a wonderful weekend & hope G feels better.
