Luis, Resin encapsulation it's a killer for electronics, as it cures, it shrinks, it can easily pull wires off or rip surface mount components from pads. I just use sikka EBT+, totally inert, slow cure with excellent bonding and moisture sealer. I give up on (EXPENSIVE) poly, epoxy potting compounds.

Hi That's interesting... I was just going by what they have used... To be honest, I was to cover the solder points with some sort of sealant, like the one I use to seal the ecus, just a small layer, and then the epoxy on top... to prevent the epoxy from get to the solders... Never heard of that EBT+ to be honest, but looks similar to the black stuff I use on the ecus... Thanks for the suggestion...👍👍👍
