The “Hey, come on Andy” at the end felt so real. People never knew if he was being serious or joking, but they DID know where and when he needed to be on stage. It just felt like someone dealing with a child who doesn’t know any better

The same guy is playing Jim Henson and Andy Kaufman. He was originally just Henson but he was a last minute replacement for Kaufman. That's why he's a ringer for Henson but is taller and thinner than Kaufman.

@@traydaniel0403 I think there are a few people that could play him at different points of his life. Not sure Nicholas Braun would have been high on my list. I thought Glen Powell maybe 10 years ago would have been a good choice for late 50's/early 60's Jim. I saw a photo recently of Sam Rockwell that looked like a spitting image of Jim in the mid-to-late 80's. I've also heard Sasha Baron Cohen's name talked about a lot for a biopic. Incidentally, I was kind of surprised to see Matthew Rhys playing George Carlin in this movie. I always thought comedian Rory Scovel would have been a dead ringer for Carlin in a biopic.

Why does everyone keep talking about this ? that doesn’t have to mean anything (it’s not like the Hendrix movie(s) where the Hendrix estate wouldn’t give anyone the rights to music etc. One studio grabbed the rights to this & offered the best deal. And even if it were a matter of ‘x studio isn’t doing it because they didn’t agree with the way the story is being told’ - maybe that’s a good thing and will make for a truer story (as many people don’t want their stories told warts and all-)

Dan Ackroyd said he didn't speak to O'Brien or Reitman about the film or that night, which is interesting since Reitman and Gil Kenan (the co-writer on this film) both directed and wrote the last 2 Ghostbusters films with Ackroyd.

Why are you judging his performance before you see him as Dan and yes, I am one of those crazy fans because I know good acting when I see it. I love his performance in movies like American Assassin, Love and Monster, Flashback and the outfit. Just because he did teeny bopper stuff like MTV teen wolf and the maze runner doesn't mean he can't do adult roles to. You can Judge it when you see him as dan when the movie comes out and he might surprise you. But please don't take my comment bad it's your right to comment too.
