Just now watching y’all from Pensacola Fl at 7:00 p m. .i have a husband who is 83 and has ptsd and diabetes and memory issues now can’t hardly see . This last year has been especially hard and he gets mean real easy now. I watch your family as I am alone with it all and I am uplifted each and every time . To see the love the connection and the care makes me better even as I and no mommas she left us when I who am now 69 when I was 2 and father died when I was 15 . Keep uplifting keep remembering how blessed you are . Happy New Year

@@HopeCarr-f5v yes for sure I play motivational godly words from KZbin all day long . It’s about all I have to cling to is God and faith . I cry when I am in the shower or my bed as we have had separate rooms for 5 y now due his refusal to shower and his kidneys are having issues and there is a smell . I burn candles and incense all day and spray my homemade room sprays constantly . He can’t smell anymore they say due to agent orange or something and can’t hear well or remember anything . I am just a care giver now living alone with a person here .

You two are the sweetest, most precious people ❤❤🙂. I know it's your upbringing and CHOICE to know Jesus as Lord. I was actually brought up in church and turned from the Lord in my teens. I know and remember exactly when I fully surrendered to him. I was 27, had my dream job and a life that I never dreamed that a poor country boy, once homeless, could have. I was at work and had reached a point of thinking of all of my undeserved blessings, completely burdened to the floor with the weight and guilt of my sins. I knew that I had to turn to Jesus. I told the Lord how tired I was and that I no longer wanted to run from him, even though I didn't truly know him and feared him for several personal reasons. I told him that I didn't want to sin anymore and wanted to live a holy life, not knowing at the time how much and how hard the enemy would instantly start to fight. I didn't know how many times I'd fail and how much closer I'd have to turn to him for mercy and grace but he knew. His precious Spirit has continued to faithfully draw me back and lead me. I've thought of giving up so many times. The enemy has tried to convince me that I was unforgivable. He never promised easy but he promised to never leave me and hes hasn't, all of these years. It does my heart good to see and hear young women of your age, in this day and time, having the faith and loving hearts that you do. I pray that God continue to bless and keep you and your family, in Jesus name.

Does Dana, who I think is the one who taught y'all to clog, still make goats milk soap? I used to buy it from her at the Folk School Fall Fest or the Mistletoe Mart. Still have one of her Red Barn business cards. That's been years ago, but I sure did like it. Always kept a bar at the kitchen sink because goats milk is the only kind that keeps me from having dishpan hands. Use something different for my face though, because of skin and other allergies. There are a couple of places that I order chemical free skin products, essential oils, and household products from. Have used for years and none have been outrageously expensive. Thank you both for sharing from your heart. Praying God's blessings on the entire Pressley Wilson family in the new year. ♥️

Typically,the Amish don't wear scarves as a head covering. It's a different material and style. The reason they do that is because of 1 Corinthians 11 ,which instructs Christians on the headship order and how that is lived out in real life. It is a prayer veiling and also a symbol of accepting that the man is the head of the woman and also a sign for the angels. I really enjoy your videos!❤

Katie, home schooling is a very noble choice for Ira. Public school has much to offer as well. I’ve heard you say that Ira is ahead of himself. It’s hard to tell at this young age, but Ira might benefit from the gifted program in a public school setting. I taught kindergarten in. Public school setting for 34 years. I have seen very successful home school experiences. I’ve also seen public schools offer experiences children would have never tried otherwise. Kids can experience sports, music, art, forgiven language, higher level chemistry and science that is necessary to attend medical school. Ira could apply for scholarships if he wants to go to college. He can apply for scholarships as a home school student or public school student. The music experiences you can offer from home would be awesome. Your family is so talented. You’re a very bright girl and would be able to offer Ira a wide range of experiences. Public schools also offer kids a chance to dip their toe into many areas to determine their strongpoints. I’ve heard you say how much you and Corie enjoyed the week before Christmas, the movies with other classes, ornaments to treasure for years, all the art projects elementary school has to offer. Mommy is every child’s first teacher and the best teacher of all. Whatever you decide will be the very best for Ira. I love watching your entire family. You’re just so loving and real. I look forward to your videos.
